When is the last time you have picked the Lions in consecutive weeks? Detroit is becoming the new Boston  (for sports anyway)

SF stops the streak. Parlayed the ML on Buffalo, SF, Carolina, and Washington.

SF +4.  Lions are a great story and off to a great start but have a short week after emotional Monday Night game.  SF front 7 on D not bad and Stafford might be overdue for a subpar game.  SF quietly off to great start that no one seems to be talking about.    Good luck to all.

sf  +5 (1u) - everybody and his mother's brother is on the Lions and saying the niners are overvalued (not on this thread so far..lol).  The Lions meanwhile have had problems getting the lead in the first half, I'm bettin it will be a close game…I'll take the points. Forty-Niners 24 - Lions 27.

I like the Lions ML here, I think -220 last I checked at a Station Property.
This is a small play.  SF should come in here amped, SF coach is guaranteed to be pumped up bringing a team back to Southeast Michigan.
I like SF coach, he's a hell of a competitor and should build a winner there but it takes time and Coach Schwartz with Detroit has had a few years to do just that.
Lions in a close game, coming down to the wire on the leg of Mr Hanson.
Lions ML cashes in.  Then roll all that into some Fister action on Sunday because the Detroit Tigers will be kicking TX around!

This will be a fun game. I love watching both of these teams play.
I don't know if San Fran will win outright, but I do know that Alex Smith & Frank Gore will keep the '49ers in the hunt.

Wouldn't touch this game with a ten-foot barge pole.  Just watch it is the best bet by far.

I'm sure all of those die hard Giants fans like SpyTheWeb can relate - they were probably thinking the exact same thing last week - and then they got trounced at home by the friggin' Sea-Turkeys..........

Have you really been impressed by the Lions "undefeated" season so far? Really?!?!? Have you watched the games? If not for 2 absolute mental breakdowns on behalf of Minnesota and Dallas, they would be 3-2 right now. And their wins? Allright, I'll give you Chicago, but come on, Tampa and K.C.........

Didn't the Broncos start off the season 5-0 a couple of years ago - they even beat the Patriots in New England during that run. And we all know how that turned out............

I really believe Stafford has a huge day here through the air as the 49ers have a great run defense and will limit jahvid Best to about 65 or 70 yards , 49ers pass defense has been pretty bad the Lions will look to exploit that all day , i give the niners credit but i think they are overmatched here through the air that 48-3 drubbing last week against the bucs was a huge win but that was more of a case where tampa did not show up for 5 minutes of that game than the niners beating them down offensively . Lions stay undefeated here and win 27-17

If the lions fall behind the niners by 14pts or more I dont know if they would be able to comeback in this one.   Niners run defense hasn't allowed a rushing td all year and im sure they'll have calvin doulbed/tripled covered all day.   They'll need to if they want to slow him down.  I like the san fran+4 in this one.  GLA

Who is SF throwing to??? Crabtreee and Edwards out I'll take the cinderella lions at home and watch that D line eat up SF.

The Lions at home -4 is the bet of the week. SF Gore has slowed down and the front four of the lions has stopped some of the best the NFL has to offer. Last week, the only way the Lions opponent were able to get rushing yards was to take it to the outside. Gore does not have that speed to do so. He is more of a Hard Nose, Straight Ahead Runner and with SUH leading the leagues most grusome front 4 D-Line, SF will be held to less than 120 yrds rushing for a team total.

On the other hand, Stafford has evolved and matured into a future hall of famer. The kis has the arm strength and mentality to take this team to the play offs. They are due. They remind me of the Saints when Sean Peyton took over as head coach. He rebuilt the team from the bottom up. Stafford has a 300+ yards through the air in this game. No doubt.
