San Fran---Its no secret here, get after Matt H and cause havock. I'm glad this contest is in Seattle, its a great test for San Fran. I can't see Seattle running the rock consistenly here and I agree with Breakie a Bookie, I see the Hawks turning the rock over and just having issues moving the ball. San Fran also will be very motivated to get off the season to a nice clean start, Niners take care of a rebuilding Hawk team with many holes on both sides of the ball.  Memo to NFL-get use to Patrick Willis, he becomes a NFL household name this year. Niners 27 Hawks 16.

Wow I loved the 49ers, but hate being on the side of the public. I guess I will make a small play on SF, -3.

This does look to be one of the easiest pick this week. That is scary. I would have thought this game to open at - 8 to -9. Sea Hawks in a major transition period and molding a team doesn't happen overnight.

It's gonna' be a long year in Seattle.

San Fran is clearly the better team and I chalk the close line (like most of them) to week 1 unknowns.

I don't consider this an upset since it's a division game and SF is AT seattle... but I think I speak for alot of people when I say I am surprised that the Niners looks as bad as they do. Many people including myself are not very happy campers watching this fiasco in the great north-west.

Currently it's Seattle-28 SF-6 with 7:42 left in the game. I concede defeat in this one.

I actually think the Raiders played better today than SF... and the Raiders lost 38-13 at Tennessee.

The Bay Area is now in mourning after both teams get spanked in week one. The Raiders loss could be expected by some but this Niners loss caught MANY by surprise... not necessarily that they lost, but the way they got demolished in a game that many thought would be a Niners guarenteed win. This has really gotta hurt Niners fans...OUCH...
