Yes the Bills are tough at home but don't forget the Seahawks ventured into the second round of the playoffs only to lose to Favre and the Packers. This team is still intact and should have enough to beat the Bison on their own turf.

All I heard all off season is how Buffalo is a playoff team- one of the better in the AFC who are one of the preseason picks to win the wildcard. Well I think preseason talk is hype and will be proved when Seattle goes up there and wins.
More research needed but I am on Seattle or off this game.

Buffalo's QB is shakey. Julius Jones adds a break away threat in Seattle's backfield. Hasselbeck is a quality QB. Buff on the rise, but maybe still a year away. Seattle wins a close one...

Don't forget about Seattle's defense, yes they melted down in GB last year but they are very rock solid. They allowed the fewest passing TD's in the NFL last year and all 11 return. Jason Peters most likely won't play and that bodes well for Julian Peterson. Buff maybe busy doubleteaming Kerney and the linebackers should have a field day. I like the Hawks plus the points. Not worried about the WR position, Hass has always made due with what he has had. Julius Jones may not play that much, Mo Morris looked very good in the preseaon and Duckett has shored up the short yardage situation. The new O-line coach has also done wonders for what was a sorry running game.

I came in liking the Bills and Under, but after reading the posts I think the Under is the best play. Seattle is down to their #2 and #5 Wrs. Peters out for Bills. Weak QB for Bills. Pretty good defenses for both teams, and the better offense is the away team, lowering the score even more.

Tough game. Hard to tell if the Seahawks have as many problems as talked about, and hard to tell if the Bills are ass improved as talked about. Wait and see teams for me, but off the top of my head, the Hawks don't travel well, and should have a tough time against a good D. We'll learn a lot after a couple games about each of these teams. It should be close but I lean on the Bills.
Hate that. But BOL either way

Seattle's defense is obviously the best part of this team, and they will struggle to put up some points this year without Shaun Alexander. I just don't see Julius Jones and Duckett getting it done.
We all know that the Bills aren't exactly a light it up type of offense as well, more of a grind it out type of team. Lee Evans and Lynch are great players, but they are lacking the one other guy.
UNDER 39 is the play here boys and girls!
Prediction: Seattle 20 Buffalo 13

Buffalo is good enough on defense to hold Seattle to fg's instead of TD's. The big play threat will have to come on the ground for I don't see any WR for Seattle being able to get behind the coverage. Seattle will have long, grind it out drives with lots of 3rd downs and lots of 3rd down conversions. If they can punch it in instead of settling for 3 then I think they would win convincingly. However, i think the lack of TD's will hurt them in the long run, and a big play here or there by the Bills will allow them to pull out a late win. Very close game, and not many points....
I like the bills and the under
Buffalo 21

Most of you are missing the boat here.. Buffalo was 7-9 last year playing the 2nd or 3rd toughest schedule in the league.. They also lost somewhere close to 6-8 starters for the year due to injuries.. (# might be higher - need to go back and look).. They had a solid offseason, didn't lose very much in the offseason and play very well at home..
Seattle has NO let me repeat NO wide receivers for this game!! Buffalo will stack the line with one of the best defensive lines in the league this year - yes one of the best and Seattle will not be able to run.. Seattle's #1 WR in the game will be Nate Burleson.. Good luck taking Seattle..
BEST BET OF THE DAY
BUFFALO -1
small play on under

From a Seattle fan, Alexander leaving was an absoulte blessing, Morris runs the ball with more conviction and hits the hole like a ton of bricks. As far as the WRs go, Burleson and Jordan Kent (Pac-10) track star at Oregon in the Hurdles have plenty of speed to strech the field. I know it's only the preseason but Seattle's offense put the 2nd most yards I think in the preseason. Seattle's offense should suprise. I really think that Seattle is ready for this 1pm est start, they adjusted their practice schedule to this since they had several weeks to prepare for this game. Final question, 2 minute drill and either team is down a FG, who's would you want running the offense, Hasselbeck or Edwards?

Check that, Seattle was #1 in the preseason, with 406 total yards, 2nd was the Titans at 370. Hass only played one series in the preseason and it was a TD drive in Minnesota week 1. The offense will be just fine.

I like the Bills here, and I am only playing 3 games today. (So far. )
Bills are tough at home, and young WRs Evans and Hardy should create opportunities as well as Lynch out of the backfield. Seattle is banged up a bit and often suck wind on the road. Buffalo -1.
