I'm leaning towards Sea +9, I know Green Bay's tough at home, BUT, Seattle Def is starting to play some decent football.

Love the Hawks!!!!  Give me those points!!! Pit, NYG, and Tenn should have covered(dam kicker!!!) as dogs already......now the book went from 3-4 points per team to 9-10?????  I'll take the dogs......except for Indy......they are quietly getting right back to where they belong.........and nobody has paid them any attention in the media........the forgotten champs, who already had NE pinned down until a couple mistakes in the last 5 minutes of that game.......Meanwhile, everybody who is a descent team over the last 6 weeks has played toe to toe with the almighty Pats........I'll take Jax in what may be the upset of the year.

SEA can take Favre out of his comfort zone and possibly force some turnovers with major pressure. The running game of the pack is far from a proven commodity and a lot of their key players have never been in a game as big as this. How will they handle it? I'm thinking it will be close and SEA +9 is the play. SEA ml a good value as well.

pre-season reviews.
Green Bay - The Packers will make it as far as Favre's aging back can carry them. Other than Driver, he doesn't have very many weapons,(tell that to Grant, Martin, Jones, & Franks) so it will be up to the defense to keep things close. If Favre gets hurt (which he didn't) or isn't playing well (forget that), things could be blown up in a hurry. Offensively there is not much room for error since the Pack doesn't have much of a running game. (Tell that to Grant 956 yards rushing).
Seattle - Can Shaun Alexander return to form (not as good as previous years 762 yards rushing) that helped his team reach the Super Bowl 2 years ago? And for that matter, can Matt Hasselbeck? (certainly can) The receivers are back. On defense, the hawks signing of Kerney , Grant and Russell make them stronger. (no question about that) What the Seahawks do in the playoffs depend largely on how effective Alexander and Hasselbeck are.(they will certainly have their work cut out for themselves playing on the frozen turf in green bay)

To add a bit to what the good colonel was talking about................Ryan Grant only was the starting back from week 8 on.  From week 8 to week 17 he averaged 93 yards per game and 1 TD per game.  Take those numbers and drag them out to a full season and you have 1500 yards and 16 TD's.  Do we really still have people that dont believe in the GB rushing game?  Favre will be fully healthy going in thanks to the bye as well!

Green Bay is 12-3-1 ATS this year
 
Seattle is 9-7 ATS this year
 
I will probably wait till the halftime lines come out because I think the Pack will jump out of the gate FAST in this one.  I would also not hesitate to lay the -9 here either.

This line is too high.  I'm going to take it now while it's at 9.5 (on Bodog).  Seattle is just like San Diego in that they are hitting their stride just at the right time.  Green Bay should win this game, but I without a doubt think that Seattle will keep it close the whole way.  Especially given all the secondary stories behind this game.  As most of you know, it is VERY rare to see me on here before Thursdays or Fridays, but as I was thinking about it I said I would have made the line GB -4.5, and it just might make it down that far with all the early action.  Taking Seattle +9.5...further action and analysis coming later on!

hello all,

i'd like to say that, Seattle played well against the Skins, however, there were some questionable calls by the refs.  on critical plays also, the Redskins beat themselves.  They shut down sEattles running game, and i'll take farve to be on his A game.  Without the refs Seattle will go down  31 -- 13.  gl all

I'm thinking about Green Bay at home...  when doesn't they blow the compertition at home?  That's the way they play for this whole year.  Blowing people out.  I expect to see the same thing here, they'll do it again because thats what they've been doing effectively.

Suspect running game huh? what a joke!!! Ryan Grant was not even the starter all year in an offense that airs the damn ball out and rushes for damn close to 1000 yards. Think before you type. Al Harris and Kampman will shut Hasselbeck down just like last year. The Packers will be able to commit extra men to pass coverage and blitzing because the Seahawks can't run the ball to save their lives. They couldn't even run the ball on my Niners this year. Come on!!! The Packers will cover 14 if they need to. Farve will pick that defense apart with the four and five wide sets they use. Then the run game will set in. Check weather before betting over/under. Go Pack!!! Packers -9, ML and Over!!!

I am loving the Pack here! Packers running game is the best kept secret here, with everyone stating how they have no running game. Look for Grant to post some numbers. However, I will wait for this line to drop, and I'll lay the points right before the game. To me, this line will continue to drop, and after the first half, everyone will realize why it opened up at -9, because the Pack will blow them out. Already jumped on the over for this one, before it goes up any more.
Jumped on Patriots -13, wish I had it at -11,  but happy I get it before it  passes up 14!!

Easy call here.  Take Seattle and the points.  GB has some problems with injuries on the OL.  I wouldn't even be surprised if Seattle wins outright.  As for the other games take Jax and the points however NE will win the game.  It will be a grinder type of game.  Believe it or not NE is not immortal.  They can be run on and JAX has the team to do it.  Look for Indy to make a some noise here.  They have had some time to adjust to their injuries and I am confident they will win by more than 10 over SD.  As for Dallas and NY.  I like Dallas to take care of business here.  However this is probably the closest of the lines Dallas at -9 could go either way.

One thing you should remember concerning the Hawks and  the redskins game I'e noticed a bunch of posts  harping on  the seattle defense.  Guys remembere who they played  Washington is not known for their offense,  Their offense stinks If anything I like the over and nothing else
