Would like to find out from a Seattle fan how Holmgren plans to play QB's Wallace and Greene after Hasselback sits if anyone knows...
I like all three of SD QB's...#2 Whitehurst has some strong upside and #3 Volek is a gamer with experience...if Michael Turner plays most of the first half, SD could put up some points early on...

most of the trends seem to point to the seahawks winning or at least covering this game.

GREGO...I was only leaning towards SD early because of the strength of their back-up QB's (Whitehurst has solid upside and Volek is a cagey gamer) but I am probably laying off because Seattle counters with the athletic Seneca Wallace and David Greene was a fairly high draft pick and could develop nicely...Homgrens' offense is designed to "manufacture" first downs, time of possession and points based on a short horizontal passing game and a power (mostly) I-formation rushing attack...I could see them scoring points in the second half based on this "system" alone...btw, don't be surprised to see Marcus Pollard flourish in this system as he can get open vertically down the seam and has better route-running and hands than Jeremy Stephans...
He is a very solid Offensive Coordinator but I am not sold on Norv Turner as a Head Coach...he doesn't instill the tough discipline and no-nonsense attitude for today's NFL players...plus he lacks the personal skills to use the "buddy approach" that Coaches like Wade Phillips and Tony Dungy employ...
If I do anything, I will tease Seattle by six and get ten points...although I abhor them, I may even play the total and tease it down to 31 (from 37) and take a shot with the over...I am waiting on 2 baseball games to finish up (and hopefully win!) before I decide whether to play on tonight's game...

With my luck at totals, it will probably blow up BUT I just booked over 19 for the first half...that's 3 TD's or 2 TD's and 2 FG's and these offenses are certainly good enough to get that accomplished...
