Dallas Cowbillies are going to get ripped by TB. Garcia is back scoring for TB and that defense, hell for Johnson. Watch TO get into a fist fight on the sidelines.
Good teams win games, Great teams cover the spread!

Chucky & Mr. Kifin knows Brad Johnson pretty well don't you think......IMHO the Buc's match up well even if Romo is playing...which he's listed day to day.....but a busted finger vs a talented defense.....I'll take the defense getting points

<<<<< Brad Johnson knows the TB defense like a book. As Chris Collinsworth said on Sunday night regarding Seneca Sorry-Ass Wallace: "Gotta think that Matt Hasselbeck would have made the right check-off there." Brad Johnson is in an excellent spot to succeed this weekend. Dallas' loss at STL is burned into many people's brains, etched there as if it still matters. Toss it out. TB defense...overrated.

Ok, I'm a little confused on how Brad could know the TB defense like a book considering he hasn't played there in like oh....half a decade. and as far as tossing out Dallas's loss to St. Louis...you can't toss it out. No, Brad is that bad. I'm a diehard Dallas fan since '79 and I've seen every Dallas game since '89. This is bar none one of the worst Dallas teams since Jerry Jones bought the team. Don't believe it? watch. this team as of today is basically the same caliber as the Dave Campo teams around 2000-2002 that went 5-11 3 consecutive years. The only difference......pro bowl caliber talent. Dallas is built to win around Romo....period. I knew Brad Johnson was horrible back in preseason. Brad Johnson makes Quincy Carter look like Mcnabb in 2004. Brad just doesn't have it. Actually, he's worse than Drew Bledsoe was in 2005. At least Bledsoe helped lead Dallas to like say 9 wins. You have to ask yourself....if Dallas were stock...would you buy it? you would probably Sell sell sell. I will always cheer for my Cowboys but if Dallas is favored..that's a joke.
I would recommend take Tampa Bay straight up or at least -3.5. It would be a Vegas inside joke to even think about taking Dallas when they are having this much trouble. Realistically, even the most die hard Dallas fans know this team probably won't even make the playoffs.

Actually the time to sell Dallas stock would have been the first part of the season when everyone had them pegged for the Superbowl. Now would be the time to buy Dallas stock while they are bottoming out. Remember: Buy low sell high.
I do agree with you that Brad Johnson is done though. Along with the rest of the "team" he was lifeless against the Rams.

Looks like a good game to take the Total(Under), especially if it's 38.5 or higher. I could see the 'boys winning by a field goal. I haven't seen any lines posted yet, so we'll have to see which way vegas is trying to sway the public.

I agree. That's why I'm not smart enough to work in the stock market. I'm man enough to admit that my team sucks right now. Is everyone in here man enough to admit it? For some reason I always hear Raiders fans talking smack the past few years and every year it goes down hill. Is this what it feels like to be a Raiders fan? Jerry Jones isn't that far behind Al Davis. I'm a lifelong Jerry Jones fan and I hope he hasn't caught Dementia like Al. What's next? Jones fires Wade Phillips, promotes Jason Garret to Head Coach and then bashes his former coach in a creepy press conference? I hope not. At least not the creepy press conference. I agree, the under might be good. Dallas may mess around and keep it respectable. Anyway you cut it Dallas has multiple obstacles such as
1) Brad Johnson- he makes Matt Cassell look like Tom Brady
2) Defense- the Dallas D really isn't that bad, but it's hard to cover people when you play alot of minutes especially when your Offense isn't up to snuff (plz rfr back to # 1)
3) Running game- this is the saving grace for Dallas. Everyone forgot that that the Rams game was probably Barber's more productive games rushing wise. Why? just because Dallas players had their heads down like Vick's familly during his press conference for dogfighting? it can't be that bad...or can it. Felix Jones probably won't be available
4) Special teams: it really hurts to see Dallas play inconsistent coverage and let people score on punt returns. I'm not sure where Dallas ranks in punt return coverage, but it isn't in the top 10.
Overall, for those that care, plz join me in a moment of silence for the Dallas Cowboys 2008 Superbowl season.
Amen

"Ok, I'm a little confused on how Brad could know the TB defense like a book considering he hasn't played there in like oh....half a decade."
Because Tampa Bay's defensive system hasn't changed in half a decade, and Brad Johnson has been an NFL student for a decade-and-7 years.
I dont' think that is going to be a huge factor in this game.... the Tampa Bay defense is not over rated..... TB can stop the run, so they will contain Barber, and Make Brad Johnson beat them.... and even though he knows the defense, the check-down passes aren't going to work against the Cover 2 when they don't have to worry about the deep ball (cause Brad Johnson has no arm).... Tampa Bays system has been working for the last 5 years, and every year their defense is solid..... they have a shutdown corner, good linebackers, a stout D-line.... and two good running backs.... only problem is that they are on the road and like most NFL teams they play shutdown football at home..... so I like them getting a few points, but not sure If I will take them at 1 point....
what I think will happen is that Dallas will beat themselves and hand TB the victory.... I expect to see some Defensive Touchdowns out of TB, they are in second in the league with 4, and have 12 INTS making them 2nd in the league, and and they have 3 fumble returns, so most likely they will win the turnover battle....
did you see what that STL defense did to Johnson?

I appreciate your insights dddevine, but I am scratching my head on how they went from the darlings of the league and superbowl shoe-in to the worst team they've ever had.
I'm going with Henry-Lilly comments and buying Dallas as a desperate "wounded animal" play. Not sure if that buying "low" and selling "high" is an accurate analogy. I'd prefer zigging when most sharps are zagging.
Valuable thread, GL to all. -Peace
