Freeman should not be a starter on any team.Matter of fact should not be in NFL.He is not an NFL QB....
.....and that's according to Fran Tarkenton - who "put his name on it"
if I had to choose - I'd take the home dog, but since both of these teams aren't worth a crap, no play (O.K., O.K., if you must, tease the Jets with something).

Josh Freeman, while shaky at times, is still 10x better than anything the Jets have. Don't forget about Doug Martin, Vjax, and Mike Williams. Bucs defense is solid and will cause the Jets nightmares. Or actually the Jets having no QB, RB, or WR, will cause themselves nightmares.
Either way BUCS -3

The Bucs are 0-7 lifetime against the Jets. I look for that to change this Sunday when Schiano makes his 2nd homecoming to the Garden State.
Last year at MetLife, the Bucs almost pulled off the upset against the Gmen as they put up 34 points. Anything close to that effort will be more than enough to beat the Jets. I also look for Darelle Revis to be especially motivated this week when he makes his return to the meadowlands. Geno Smith is already running his mouth that he played against Schiano when he was coaching Rutgers and he knows what to expect and won't get flustered. This isn't the big east Geno.
I'm putting on my joe public pants and laying the too-good-to-be-true 3 points on the Bucs.
Bucs 24
Jets 13

The RB for the Bucs should have a big game. The Jets offense will self implode when the rookie tries to win the game on every throw. Bucs cover easily.
