I like the Titans here too, although if the line got to -14 I might change my mind. The Lions have been good as big dogs this year, but I agree that they seem to have laid down for the season and with the Titans coming off a loss it could get ugly...
I'll probably just watch this one, but if the degenerate in me comes out I'll be on the Titans -11.

I'm starting to think that this line was set at double digits to induce money on Detroit. Looking back this season, the only other time a home team was getting 10 or more was when Carolina was in Oakland.

What are early bird lines?

the line is tennessee prime. you have the 2nd best team in the league, playing the worst. its really elementary. i went to the titans game on sunday and they looked like shite. chances are great they WONT look like shite on turkey day.
p.s. went 5 for 6 on sunday, and 2 for 2 on monday. only loss being titans game time to get back on their train. 9-2ats

Forget Tennessee getting pissed over a loss because.............
THEY KNEW IT WAS COMING EVENTUALLY !!!!
I'm not saying lay every penny on Detroit, but you can not consider thata liable cause for TENN wanting to cover the spread every game from now on.
In the games they've had blow outs more than 10 pts against are .... @Cincy (garbage) , @KC (earlier in the year, lost in QB issues, and garbage , MIN (kind of shaky team for same reasons earlier in year), Houston (shitty divisional opponent)
EVERYTHING else has been under 10 a point victory for TENN
Well, that said....
- Is Detroit gonna roll over and take the draft pick?
- Maybe
- Is Detroit gonna roll over and take the pick on THE ONE DAY they would like to kinda prove to the complete general public that is watching their horse shit team on Thankgiving like we do every year?
- Maybe
- On short rest, will both these teams be ready after the energy they exerted on Sunday? more so Tennsee?
- Probably not
- Will Tennesee D want to make a TRUE name for themselves in this primetime fiasco?
- Of COURSE
- Would Detroit not want to look like a bunch of amateurs in a primetime event?
- YES
Seems like a lay off....

Thanksgiving the suck Lions at home agaisn't one of the better teams in the league getting double digits I don't think the public will be all over Detroit.

Dude 1618: I think this is an important question. Thanks for throwing it out there.

This is why I'll probably sit this one out. The Titans are three days off their 1st loss and their worst game of the year. I'm sure they'll get it together to beat the Lions, but I'm not sure it will be a blowout. That said... Lions have to be pretty deflated after getting up 17-0 quick and still losing by a lot. To me the line is about right here. Still thinking about staying away, although UNDER looks appealing.

For years we have watched Detroit on Turkey day and there have been some very entertaining games we have seen. This will be a blow out even though last week the Lions surprised us all with a 17-0 run against Tampa in the first half. It will give us something to talk about with Uncle ?, and others on this day. Mostly about how good Tennessee is. Have a Great Thanksgiving.

Tennessee averages 38 points a game. Detroit averages 39 points a game.
Detroit has gone over in their last 4 games.
Tennessee will take its frustrations from the Jets loss out on Detroit. They will have a big offensive day. Since its Thanksgiving Detroit will show up for this game and will not have a problem finding the endzone.
Some trends to consider:
-Over is 5-0 in Lions last 5 games in November.
-Over is 8-0-1 in Lions last 9 vs. a team with a winning record.
-Over is 7-1-1 in Lions last 9 games on field turf.
-Over is 6-1-1 in Lions last 8 home games.
-Over is 4-1 in Titans last 5 games on field turf.
-Over is 4-1 in Titans last 5 games following a S.U. loss.
I have 3 units on this play.

I don't think you will see a line change until tomorrow morning. The 17 points that Detroit scored in the first half of last weeks game has got people confused plus the past Thanksgiving games Detroit has played some good ball. I really think that Tennessee will blow Detroit out of the water on this one.... Not the same Detroit team as in the past where they were respectible. How times have changed.

I live here in Detroit and we field a shitty team every year but this year's team is the worst ever!! Last year we couldn't cover on the road, this year we can't cover at home!! This line seems to small to me-should be 14-17. The Lions can't stop the run and can't pass block and are playing with a retired QB with Drew Henson as back-up!! We will only kick fg's thursday as that is our only real pro(Hanson)! Tenn 37 Det-12. Bet against the Lions every week and at the end of the year you will be up $$$$.
