Real Club Valderrama a TOUGH course. last years winner was Andy "Beef" Johnston (as Open de Espana) @ [+1] one shot better than Dutchman Joost Luiten with local hero and tourney host Sergio Garcia three back
Jon Rahm the tourney favorite in his first ever Euro Tour tourney he has played in his native Spain @ 9-2 with Sergio Garcia 5-1
I think BEST "value" long shot this week Matt Wallace 50-1. 4th last week Italian Open [-19]. Tied 9th KLM Open [-12]. T-6th Made in Denmark [-12] and WON Open de Portugal [-21] early season. made the CUT 7 of last 8 tourneys
"wacked out fukk nuts crazy" plays Julien Suri 50-1 (WON Made in Denmark) Austin Connelly 60-1 (2nd KLM) Aaron Rai 75-1 (three wins on Challenge tour) Robert Rock 80-1 (T-4th Alfred Dunhill) Lee Slattery 100-1 (2nd Czech Masters. T-6th European Masters) Florian Fritsch 100-1 (4th British Masters) Anders Romero 125-1 (WON BMW International) Tom Lewis 125-1 (T-3rd Czech Masters) Oliver Fisher 125-1 (T-7th Alfred Dunhill)
NO Tyrrell Hatton (winner last two weeks) Ross Fisher (tied 2nd last two weeks) "A Fat Bran Rat (tied 2nd last week), "The Mole", "The Matthew Mouse" OR Tommy Fleetwood this week. probably all resting before the WGC-Sheshan International in Shanghai China which is a PGA & Euro Tour co-sponsored almost $10 million "big bucks" tourney in two weeks

well Matt Wallace at least has the lead over Canizares [-1/+4] going into the final round of my match play BUT looks like it is Sergio Garcia's tourney to win with a one shot lead @ [-8]. watched some of the tourney last night on Golf Channel and Real Club Valderrama sure is a beautiful course

well a pretty anti-climatic finish with Sergio Garcia [-12] the one shot WINNER over Joost Luiten. the "chalk" won BOTH tourneys this week with Sergio in Spain and Justin Thomas in Korea. my one "to win" chance Robert Rock could NOT recover from his [+3] 74 third round and ended tied for 8th with Julien Suri and Nino Bertasio. I will be interested to see IF my former Duke Blue Devil Suri gets "in range" of a Race to Dubai top 60 spot
at least Matt Wallace cashed his match play over Alejandro Canizares [even] to [+4]
the almost $10 million dollar PGA/Euro Tour co-sponsored WGC-HSBC Champions in Shanghai, China next week. I am sure that ALL the "Top Guns" from BOTH tours will play. Hideki Matsuyama [-23] the seven shot WINNER over Daniel Berger and Henrick Stenson last year, should be a GREAT tourney
