REMINDER......ALL PLAYERS ARE ELIGIBLE THIS WEEK.  IT DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU USED THEM IN THE REGULAR SEASON.

I WILL POST ALL SELECTED PLAYS THURSDAY AT NOON  (AS LONG AS THEY ARE IN)

IF YOUR SELECTED PLAYER MISSES THE CUT, WITHDRAWS, OR MAKES THE CUT AND DOESN'T FINISH, YOU WILL RECEIVE THE WORST SCORE OF A FINISHING PLAYER.  (NOT +5 AS IT WAS IN THE REGULAR SEASON)

The reason being is that qball1324 could just pick Jim Furyk right now and move on.  And he could do the same thing next week and so on...

And as far as not allowing the same pick...I wanted to at least give some advantage to the guys that did the best in the regular season.  I think the PM is the best way to do it.

Switching it up for the playoffs because there are going to be less golfers as the weeks go on...figured picking 2 out of 100/70/30 would yield too many duplicates.

Currently have 6 selections in for the week...

quick poll....should I write a PM back to the lower seed tomorrow night if they have selected the same player as the higher seed?  I have to work until 10pm so it won't give them much time to respond...but it might be helpful to some.

I say let the lower seeds know 2 minutes before the first tee time Thursday morning.  And if they don't get their pick in before the first tee time, they are DQ'd.

I typed that as a joke, but then realized some people may not get that it was a joke.  I'll be honest and say that since I'm a higher seed I would obviously love the lower seed not to know what I pick.  That way if we pick the same guy, I would get the win.  However, I think the competition should be legit Head-2-Head with the best player winning.  If we duplicate picks, the lower seed should be notified so they can change their picks. 

And just to let everyone know, I even nicknamed my player in the PM I sent to CMJ.  I'm a sucker for tradition...

I feel picking only 1 golfer is a dumb switch (sorry) picking the same golfer and getting an automatic loss is a joke. We play all season just to get counterfited would be a terrible way to lose.

I'm not trying to be a girl about it , this a great run contest thanks again . The way we ran last seasons playoffs was perfect didn't see a reason for a change . Good luck everyone in the playoffs

PM and post it in here that there has been a duplicate pick and the lower seed must change before that said player tee's off. 

And rules are rules...I'm not up for changing anything now. We can discuss all that in the off season in preparation for next year's contest!
