RatLooks like u got good lines by jumping on early. Suri and Hebert been playing great. I&#x27;ve been on the rookie Smith all year and made a bunch on him. Your line of &#x2B;130 looks good as the line now is pick em (-110) at 5dimes. At that price I am tempted to go other way with Pieters although he hasn&#x27;t been good lately. You mentioned he was 2d here last year but Pieters also was 1st here in 2015. Smith is now matched up with the big boys (Pieters and Fitzpatrick). In past his matchups were with lesser players. You could take the money and run if you were so inclined by middling with Pieters -110.

just two sportsbooks, Westgate and William-Hill, do Euro Tour weekly. Pieters is -125 @ Westgate and -145 @ William-Hill vs Smith. https://www.europeantour.com/europeantour/season=2017/tournamentid=2017072/teetimes/index.html shows Pieters, Fitzpatrick and Kaymer tee @ 1:05pm 1st day while Smith goes with Nordea Masters winner Renato Paratore and Lyoness Open winner Dylan Frittelli at 7:05am. hopefully those three "young guns" push each other although Paratore AND Frittelli "not so hot" since their wins

must be a weather front going thru Prague Thursday. AccuWeather. com shows Thunderstorms around noon their time and looking like off and on rain all weekend

Pieters line moved back up again at 5Dimes to -130.  This morning I bet Pieters for $88 to win $80.  Was thinking of going more and just logged on but not adding at -130.The lines move.

RatBTW my other book (local with an offshore website) has Pieters at -125.You are right that Frittelli has tailed off badly after his run mid-summer.Paratore withdrew last minute last week at the Made in Denmark.  Not sure why but if you know please advise.I am wary of guys who withdraw.  Could be an injury??

watched the early groups on Golf Channel last night. was a decent 1st round start. Jordan L Smith was horrid on his front 9 (off #10) BUT recovered on the back with a eagle and two birdies for an opening [even] vs "Salt" Pieters [-1]. Julien Suri [-4] vs Thomas Detry [even]. last weeks winner @ Himmerland only two back of the leader Callum Shinkwin [-6] (who SHOULD have WON the Scottish Open). Ben Hebert [-1] one up on David Lipsky [even]. Dylan Frittelli back in form @ [-5] one back of Shinkwin.

turned out the weather was just fine at least while I was watching. raining in Prague right now overnight and supposed to be off & on rain Friday esp late in the day

just completely awful cold rain weather drowned the Albatross Golf Resort 2nd round and afternoon pairings play suspended. young Suri showed his immaturity on his back side with TWO doubles for [+2] to drop to [-2] one up on Detry [-1] for [-1]. his 2nd double Suri missed a make-able par putt on #8 then "played hockey" and three putted

I got lucky with the Hebert over Lipsky match when Lipsky DQ on #15 SO that should be a winner

Englishman Lee Slattery must be part Water Spaniel. the guy shoots an 8 birdie 1 bogie round in the slop for the [-7] 2nd round lead with with Dylan Frittelli one back @ [-6] thru #4 before play suspended

weather supposed to improve for Saturday. the course was absolutely soaked Friday when I turned off the Golf Channel broadcast. all I can say for Suri's back side "blow up" is GROW UP, Kid!!! everyone playing the SAME course in the SAME conditions

Lee Slattery has been a decent finisher his last three tourneys with final 69 European Open, 68 Scottish Open and 70 Irish Open. he is two up on Hyden Porteous who shot a final 67 last week in Denmark to finish tied 6th, a CUT @ Scottish Open and final 69 @ Irish Open. next closest player four back. Lee&#x27;s wife is about to give birth. has NOT been a distraction so far BUT it could be Sunday my boy Julien Suri with a nice "bounce back" third round [-4] for tourney [-6] to extend over Thomas Detry [even] for [-1]. Jordan L Smith match in trouble [&#x2B;1] for tourney [&#x2B;1] behind Thomas Pieters [even] for [-2]. I need J L to shoot a "bomber" Sunday OR "Salt" to "blow up" like he did @ Open de France Ben Hebert a definite winner tourney as his 3rd round for tourney tourney [&#x2B;1] made the cut over David Lipsky&#x27;s disqualification 2nd round

well had a GOOD tourney with a SWEEP of my three match plays. Ben Hebert with a "walk over" on the David Lipsky DQ. got my wish with Jordan L Smith [+4] as "Salt" Pieters played maybe his WORST professional round of golf EVER [+11] for [+9] and Julien Suri held on for a [+4] for [-2] win over Thomas Detry [+3] for [+2]

gotta feel bad for Lee Slattery who bogies #18 to hand the tourney to South African Hyden Porteous [-11] to [-13]. hard to believe that Slattery shot that unreal [-7] 2nd round in the slop in what a couple of the commentators said was THE best "bad weather" round they had EVER seen only to FAIL on Sunday

on to the Omega European Masters @ Crans Montana, Switzerland next week. last years winner was Alex Noren [-17] in a playoff over Aussie Scott Hend. NOT a Rolex Series tourney SO we will see who shows up but Crans-sur-Sierre GC one of THE most beautiful courses on the Euro Tour
