Tommy Fleetwood -110 over Henrik Stenson Ross Fisher +105 over Tyrrell Hatton Jeunghun Wang -110 over Ashun Wu Paul Dunne -110 over Byeong-Hun An Ross Fisher +105 over Branden Grace
"to win" long shot "cats & dogs" bets Alex Levy 50-1 Chris Paisley 60-1 Thomas Detry 80-1 Jeunghun Wang 100-1 Andy "Beef" Johnston 125-1 Fabrizio Zanotti 125-1
just before tee time Wednesday night (started 7:10pm pacific time) "to win"
Dylan Frittelli 50-1 only becuase if I do NOT bet him he will shoot the course up
Paul Dunne 50-1. see Frittelli BOTH can shoot "wicked low" when they get it going
George Coetzee 100-1. Euro Tour site has him picked as "long shot" and sometimes they find a gem
Alex Bjork 150-1. CUT last two BUT T-2nd @ Hong Kong
with all the "star players" this week a bunch of quality long shots in the 5-1 field like Joberg Open winner Shubhankar Sharma, Portugal Masters winner Lucas Bjerregaard and Czech Masters winner Haydn Porteous. odds just too low to fool with

well I'm in the rough with my match plays after the 1st round. "The Fish" [-3] vs both Hatton [-8] and Grace [-4] NOT looking good and Wang [-3] one back of the ChiCom Wu [-4]. also Fleetwood [-3] just one up on Stenson [-2] too tight for any comfort. ONLY one really working after the round is Dunne [-6] over An [even]
was a day for "geezer golfers". 42 year old Jamie Donaldson the leader @ [-10] with also 42 year old Anthony Wall one back @ [-9] along with "The Horse" David Horsey. I would be VERY surprised IF any of those three ends up the eventual tourney winner. crazy thing is BOTH Donaldson and Wall were late afternoon tee times
"name" players Hatton @ [-8] with McIlroy and Pieters @ [-7]. Garcia finished @ [-5]. best 1st round by my "cats & dogs" both Paisley and Bjork @ [-7] with Dunne @ [-6]. weather conditions were perfect for scoring with NO wind and that is forecast throughout the weekend BUT it iS the desert

well THIS tourney is a complete freeking MESS for me. early morning fog (FOG ??? in the freeking DESERT ???) caused a 2 hour start delay so the afternoon "bank" did NOT finish their rounds
the crowning glory for me is my boy Paul "Young Gun" Dunne "blows up" with a [+2] for tourney [-4] vs Beyoung-Hun An [-5] for tourney [-5]. I do NOT know WHAT kind of "Jack Nicklaus Juice" An was drinking BUT the damn Korean shot his BEST round of the season. after the first round I was counting on a CUT "walkover" for Dunne. NOW he will probably LOSE
you KNOW the tourney is WEIRD when 54 year old geezer Miguel Angel Jimenez shoots a 2nd round [-4] for tourney [-10] tied for 5th AND Jamie Donladson STILL holds the lead with a [-3] for tourney [-13]

WOW!!! finished the 2nd round Saturday morning and Rory McIlroy with the "bomber" [-8] for tourney [-15] and a two shot lead over Donaldson. "HE'S BACK!!!"
the ChiCom Haotong Li alone in 3rd with [-6] for [-12] while four tied for 4th including Branden Grace[-7] and my "cats & dogs" player Alex Bjork[-4] @ [-11]
they all go right into the 3rd round and HOPEFULLY will have that complete today

it is just shoot out the lights in Dubai. "bomber" rounds all over the place. SEVEN players with rounds of [-7] or less. unless the wind picks up Sunday it is gonna take like [-26] or [-27] to WIN this thing
the ChiCom Haotong Li the 3rd round leader with a [-8] for tourney [-20] one shot ahead of Rory McIlroy, who kind of "sprayed" in the 3rd, [-4] for [-19]. you STILL have to think HE is the favorite. Haydn Porteous and Alex Levy both tied for 3rd with [-7] for [-17]. Alex had a hole in one on #4 his round. Andy Sullivan with the low round of the day [-9] for [-16] is alone in 5th place
BOTH my Fisher bets are probably DEAD with him [-9] vs both Grace and Hatton [-14]. hopefully Wang at [-14] can hang on over Wu [-10] while Fleetwood over Stenson is "wicked close" both at [-12]. Tommy did shoot a 3rd round [-6] vs Stenson [-2] so there IS some hope

just an amazing final round at the Emirates Gold Club in Dubai Sunday. the wind picked up for the late pairings and the scores went up also my pet ChiCom Haotong Li [-3] for tourney [-23] held off Rory McIlroy [-3] for [-22] who BLEW a 2 shot lead he had thru #10. and NOW I REALLY feel like a FOOL. I have bet Li almost EVERY tourney he has played since winning the China Open two years ago WHEN he is 100-1 or higher and was 100-1 this week BUT was a [+1] CUT last week at Abu Dhabi. I feel like someone stole $500 bucks out of my pocket
Li was just amazing with the putter his final round. he must have made a dozen "knee knocker" 6 to 10 foot putts. BOTH he and Rory "sprayed" most of the round BUT Li put it together at the end with 4 birdies on the last 6 holes including #17 & #18
NOT a good tourney for me. FUKK YOU Ross Fisher, Tommy Fleetwood and esp Paul "Dunb Azz" Dunne. "The Fish" actually had a chance to WIN or at least tie one of his two match plays when "Dis"-Grace "blew up' with a final [+3] for [-11] BUT the stupid son of a b!tch shoots just [-1] for [-10] in the morning when the winds were light AND "Cocker Spaniel" Tommy had a two shot lead on that Swedish mealball Stenson BUT Stenson eagles #18 to tie. Fleetwood STILL had a chance for the WIN with a birdie on the par 5 #18 and hits his 2nd shot up next to the green BUT puzzies his chip shot way short and two putts for a par and the "putch". "Get A Hircut and Get a REAL Job" Tommy. "Young Gun" Dunne just SUCKED the 2nd round and was a CUT for the first time in his last 12 tourneys. ONLY bright spot was my Korean kid Jeunghun Wang who handled the ChiCom Ashun Wu [-16] to [-11] he got tied for 6th in the tourneyalong with 12 others
kind of WEIRD scheduling the next four week on the Euro Tour. go next week to Malaysia for the Maybank Championship then down to Perth, Australia for that goofy Handa World Super 6 Perth stroke followed by match play mess THEN back to the desert for the inagural Oman Open (new tour event) and the Qatar Masters
they said on the Golf Channel broadcast that Rory is scheduled to play PGA next week at the Phoenix Open. I would imagine he will play a number of PGA events leading up to the Masters
