Speaking of kissing away the pain...let's make some money off of some guys coming off of injuries.

Zach Johnson -160 ov Tiger Woods

My buddy and I disagree about this play.  He says he doesn't trust Zach Johnson, and that Zach hasn't been playing great.  To that, I say...

1.  I don't trust the guy who hasn't played in over 450 days.
2.  I don't trust the guy coming off of multiple back surgeries.
3.  I don't trust the guy who hasn't shown he can complete 1 round, let alone 4 rounds.
4.  I don't trust the guy who has all new equipment.
5.  I don't trust the guy who mentally hasn't trusted himself on the golf course in years.

I made up my mind before this tournament that I wasn't going to let the media circus, and interviews, and hype get away from betting against Tiger.  I put the play in as soon as it was announced...and I'm sticking with it.

2.  Russell Knox ov Justin Rose

Speaking of back injuries, Justin Rose hasn't competed since early October saying he needed to rest his back.  This is his first tournament back.  Russell Knox in the meantime has been playing, and playing well.  Three straight top 10 finishes.  Not sold rose is going to hold up all 4 rounds.

3.  Stenson ov Bubba Watson
Stenson has been playing amazing.  Arguably the best golfer in the world right now.  His last 8 tournaments, his worse finish is 13th.  The last tournament they both played in Stenson finished 2nd...Watson  53rd.  Bubba hasn't been fantastic in 2016.  Not nearly as good as he's been in years past.

4.  JB Holmes ov Jimmy Walker

Apparently, the off-season has already started for Jimmy Walker.  Since the incredible Ryder Cup, he's played in 2 tournaments.  One tournament he finished dead last, and the other he finished 137th.  Combined +26 for those 2 tourneys.  JB Holmes finished 35th in the World Golf Championships...not amazing, but it's not dead last.  Hoping Jimmy is still off in la la land.

Tigers opening round 1st tee shot in the fairway? YES -150 NO +130

Tigers 1st round score? OVER 72 1/2 -110 UNDER 72 1/2 -110

Tiger to finish in the top five? YES +600 NO -900

Tiger to finish in the top ten? YES +200 NO -240

Tiger to withdraw during the tourney? YES +300 NO -360

with the physical problems Tiger has had as listed by alangrrbs, I think the last prop YES is a pretty good speculation @ 3-1

Agree on your picks except I took Walker +130 v Holmes
Walker and Fowler teamed up for 2d last week
Holmes not great so took the dog

Also took Fowler -110 v Reed for same reason
Fowler playing better and Reed going other way
Line moved to -130. Too high now

Also went against Tiger but I too do not trust Zach 

Like to go against the layoff guys so like Knox play
Also went against Spieth and DJ small with Matsuyama. They have both been off for awhile. Think I like the DJ one better since he has the family now and may not be ready whereas Spieth has no distractions. 

Gonna take a look at Australia now. 
At first glance like Danny Lee -115 v Pampling
You have any thoughts there?

I don't allow myself to bet on or against Danny Lee.  Dude is way too inconsistent.

I thought about Fowler ov Reed but pussied out.  Glad you took it.  I like it.

Withdraw play is up to +390.  Might be worth a small play...

Tiger was cruising and looking pretty good on the front side [-4] thru #8 BUT bogied #9 and THEN "blew up" late with doubles on #16 & #18 for a [+1] round. back or hip go "wonky" late ???

His swing sure looked lazy and tired on those last few holes.  Not to mention he holed out some long putts for par.  I don't think he holds up over the weekend.  He may finish the tourney, but he's going to shoot high scores Saturday and Sunday for sure.

Wish all my bets above would've been first round bets!!!

I am actually thinking of chancing Tiger +140 over Rose 2nd round. Rose has had back trouble too lately. someone PLEASE talk me OUT of it

Spieth -135  ov Fowler +105 Spieth lipped out about 4 or 5 holes. I think he easily could of been at the top of the leaderboard. I think he has a strong day today. your thoughts?

Matsuyama -160 O Holmes +130 I think Vegas is showing their cards on this one. Matsuyama has played great now and Holmes had a good round. To me they are saying Holmes comes back to earth today. 

Stenson +105 O D Johnson. I'm thinking anytime you can get + $$$$ on 1 of the best golfers in the world right now, don't you have to take it?

I'd stay away from laying big to Fowler. Think he is on the up. Playing much better

god damn Bubba!!! NOW the son of a b!tch shoots [+3] 3rd round. I expected something like that FRIDAY!!!

Hideki Matsuyama running off with the thing. 3rd round [-7] (low round of the day) for a tourney [-19] and 7 shot lead going into Sunday

I couldn't STAND it any more. I usually do NOT bet low odds numbers on tourneys "to win" BUT bopped Matsuyama 30-1 "to win" Masters for $20. right now he is shooting UNREAL. 2nd CIMB Classic followed by 1st HSBC Champions the next week in late October. he and Ryo Ishikawa also shot well in the World Cup of Golf two man tourney in Melbourne last week

In golf matsuyama gonna win my plays against spieth and DJ.
Got burned on Danny Lee v Pamplona in Aussie golf.
Winning after RD 1 RD 2 and RD 3 then lose. Ughh
Fowler gonna beat Reed so all in all a plus week.

I haven't been too active lately, but Scalabrine had been fade material most of his play posting career. Most of his posts were anti-white/pro black whichever way he could find on each side. Glad he's found his way picking. GL golf pickers, hopefully Mr Rat will have some hair by the time the Tourney of champions comes up in January. :)

I will agree that Scalabrine IS a verbose "attention horrer" flannel mouth BUT he HAS had some "runs" lately. Jarrett75 is also correct, though, that he is NOT as "sharp" as he blows about. he goes on and on about his WINS but when he LOSES it is <<crickets>>

btw, I will be interested to see the entry list for the UBS Hong Kong Open next week. NO PGA tourney SO might get some "major players" traveling there. Justin Rose won last year BUT just withdrew after the 1st round @ the Hero so his back may be acting up again

I've made a boatload of ca$h recently following Scal 
His analysis is clearly well thought out and heavily researched  
If u search his threads for even just this week it's right there. 
Not sure about past years but I believe he is hitting a documented 70% for last year and this. I know for a fact he is doing it this year since I found his thread.  He is very good now

Enough of that. Was just trying to steer you guys onto a good capper to enjoy the ride

as for golf I'm gonna make a small 4th round play on Fowler v kuchar. I don't think kuchar is a finisher and Fowler has turned his game around 
Not long ago Fowler was an auto fade.
