I don't follow or watch golf. But these odds at my book had me scratching my head.
A hole in one seems pretty hard to do.
For upcoming D+D Real Czech Masters Hole in one odds are Yes -133! and No +100
FedEx St. Jude Championship Hole in one Yes +105 No -141
I immediately wanted to pound the NO's.
According to the National Hole-in-One Registry, the odds of the average golfer making a hole-in-one are 12,500 to 1.
Tour player making an ace: 3,000 to 1 Low-handicapper making an ace: 5,000 to 1 Two players from the same foursome acing the same hole: 17 million to 1 One player making two holes-in-one in the same round: 67 million to 1
Is this a sucker bet or great odds?

The golfers on the DP are really good. Plus a full field event means a lot of golfers having a go. There must be a getable par 3.
Where as the FedEx St. Jude is a smaller (70 man) field. Not that the PGA guys aren't as good, but I'm guessing TPC Southwind probably doesn't have many Ace-able par 3's.
Personally I wouldn't touch either of these at those numbers. I prefer the individual round hole in one odds you can get during a normal regular season event.
Good Luck!
