How do you cap the 1st round? That's gotta be a headache.

 PGA sorts shots gained by round, so you look at players who consistently do well in first round. Then you look at players who are very inconsistent who regularly get 5+ strokes gained, but also may have days where they are the worst player, and so this reason, give you good odds. These players give value for FRL. If you also bet the favorites, and they do well, you know you will get very good value on the long shots for the rest of the rounds, making for a fun tourney. Am I wrong?

I also like guys that go out earlier. I think I saw a stat that 82% of the time the frl comes from morning wave. Loved hojgaard last week at genesis. he went off very first group and they were a twosome. so I was thinking there could be a lot of momentum if they got in a groove. Wrong.
