September 7th thru 10th @ Crans-sur-Sierre GC Crans Montana, Switzerland

Favorites this year are last years winner Alex Noren @ 10-1 and Tommy Fleetwood @ 12-1. "notable" players include last weeks Czech Masters winner Haydn Porteous and week before Made in Denmark winner Julian Suri  both @ 50-1. European Open winner Jordan L Smith is @ 30-1 while Lyoness Open winner Dylan Frittelli is @ 60-1 and Nordea Masters winner young Renato Paratore is @ 80-1. BMW International winner Anders Romero definitely worth a "sprinkle" @ 200-1

looks to me like a number of "mis-match" plays this week. I played these (bet/return)

Joost Luiten -120 over Anthony Wall (36/66)
Paul Dunne even over Jamie Donaldson (30/60)
David Horsey -120 over Tyrrell Hatton (36/66)
Ryan Fox -110 over Chris Wood -110 (33/63)
Lee Slattery -115 over Robert Rock (35/65.45)

also chanced Tommy Fleetwood even over Alex Noren (30/60) and Julian Suri -105 over Haydn Porteous (32/62.45) because BOTH can shoot "wicked low" when they get it going

after looking at recent results I tacked on these two match plays @ Westgate

Jordan L Smith -105 over Richie Ramsay (31.50/61.50)
Alex Levy -105 over Ross Fisher (31.50/61.50)

I too will go against Ross Fisher who has taken one month off after the PGA.  Well earned vacation.  Who knows how sharp he will be coming back.  They say this course is the most beautiful course on tour with great views of the Swiss Alps.  Fisher probably just enjoying his vacation..
Tommy Fleetwood falls into the time off category too.

I went with Fitzpatrick -115 v Fisher.
Fitz last 2 years at this event have been fantastic.

Ya unless you are in to "Girlie" or "Gezzer" Golf this is about IT for Golf betting this weekend. I just stayed away from "The Matthew Mouse" as he has been somewhat struggling lately. my Tommy over Noren play is strictly a "guess" 'cause you NEVER know WHICH Tommy will show up and Noren has already WON twice @ Crans Montana including last year. IF I was smart I would have just gone with the five "mis-match" plays

Ho BOY!!! 4-4-1 after the 1st round and 5 of my players below the projected [even] CUT line

three way tie for 1st with Tyrrell Hatton, Scott Hend and that old geezer Angel Jimenez @ [-6] with 6 players including my "Kiwi Bomber" Ryan Fox one behind @ [-5]. wouldn't you know it after ALL the times I have played Fox "to win", THIS week the damn books did NOT have odds on him

I should have STAYED AWAY from Tommy [+2] vs Noren [even]. could still go either way but NOT comfortable. also Levy [+4], Slattery [+5], Jordan L [+2] and "The Horse" [+3] all "blew up" BUT at least "The Fish" was a BAD as Levy @ [+4]

per https://www.worldweatheronline.com/golf/crans-sur-sierre-crans-montana-weather/ch.aspx?day=1 it is forecast to be another beautiful day for golf in Crans Montana Friday with pretty much clear skies and light winds. I would expect "wicked low" scoring

I KNEW I should have just played the "mis-match" selections. 3-1 and leading the 5th after the CUT. lost 2 of the other 3 on CUTS but Julien Suri IS well ahead of Porteous [-8] to [-2]. Tommy Fleetwood needs to "Get A Haircut and Get a Real Job"

Aussie Scott Hend, who got 2nd here last season in a playoff with Noren, the 2nd round leader @ [-13] with early season Joberg Open winner Darren Fichardt 2nd @ [-12] BOTH shoot 2nd round [-7]. next closest players @ [-9]. "bomber" round of the day Lee Slattery with a course record tying [-8] to get to tourney [-3] AND it wasn't even raining like in Prague last week

the great weather brought out a LOT of [-5] or better rounds. THAT will probably continue thru the weekend as the forecast for more of the same perfect conditions for the game of golf

Good God Gertie!!! freeking Scott Hend LOSES in a playoff to Matthew Fitzpatrick for the second year in a ROW!!! last year was vs Alex Noren!!! "The Matthew Mouse" with final round [-6] for [-14] vs Hend [-2] for [-14] and par vs bogie the 3rd playoff round all on #18. Hend didn't really "blow up" like he did in Fiji a couple weeks ago, where he also had the 3rd round lead, with 4 birdies and two bogies BUT "The Mouse" with "the bomber" for his best round in a LONG time 8 birdies vs 2 bogies

Julien Suri and Joost Luiten both held on for their matchplay WINS to get me back some money BUT "The Horse" was never in it the whole tourney vs Tyrrell Hatton who ended up tied for 3rd in the tourney with Fabrizio Zanotti @ [-11]. I end up going 5-4 for  tourney match plays BUT would have been 4-1 IF I had just stayed with my "mis-match" bets

on to the KLM Open next week in the Netherlands. last years winner was Dutchman Joost Luiten

watched the recording of the playoff and now REALLY feel bad for Scott Hend. 2nd round he hits it within 6-8 feet of the hole with a chance to WIN with a birdie BUT jacked it. THEN hits it in the cat box off the tee 3rd round and that was that. just flat gave it to Fitzpatrick
