Bubba might like the course, but he's playing it for s hit. Furyk nails a 20 footer for birdie to sink both plays. Will post 3rd round if I am around/awake. Was up at 5 with pain so not sure what will happen today, also no idea when they will post lines, assuming they will.

Looks like Bubba AND Danny cost you that one. Danny built a nice little snowman for you on #5. He was hanging in there until that.

If there is anyone who has let the moment get to them more than DJ, it's likely Justin Thomas. He has faded from contention more times this year and it wasn't even the pressure of a major.

I typically won't back a guy off a low round, but Jordan isn't your typical golfer and hoping the moment is still in DJ's mind. Hope this doesn't backfire on me.

straight bet Matt Jones +105 over David Lingmerth. really kind of a "get my bait back" half baked hedge on my Lingmerth future bet

parlay
Tony Finau -120 over Harris English (Finau -6 2nd round?)
Jordan Spieth -160 over Dustin Johnson (hell it's Dustin on the weekend)
JB Holmes even over Billy Horschel (have a tourney matchup against JB)
Hideki Matsuyama -140 over Paul Casey (would rather have Hiroshi Iwata after his -9 2nd round)

matchups they did NOT offer that I wish they had
George Coetzee (-7 2nd round) over whoever
Hiroshi Iwata (-9 2nd round) over whoever
got a feeling these two could do a Troy Merritt @ The Quicken and just keep going

One of my things is I almost always will fade the low round from the previous day. It does matter who they are playing. There are a few players that will back up a low round with another. Jordan over DJ is one I played and was nervous about it. But took the two players into account. GL taking the 36 hole leader. My book only offered Lahiri vs Jones or I would have taken Lahiri. I leaned Horschel over JB, but never bet it so good luck there.

Truth be told this was my least favorite of what I played, hence the not doubling up as I did with the others. I guess Kaymer has a little of his magic on this course from the past.

Not feeling great about this bet. Thomas has made 20 foot par putt and just made a 10 footer for par. These aren't rare, but for a guy that has shown himself to fold, it doesn't bode well.

So it looks like I was smart to lay off most of those. The steele over Piercy and Horschel were ones I liked and passed on. Pretty pleased overall. Didn't get any odds to win after the 2nd round, was planning on playing Day and Rose as I didn't have them in my pre tourney. I mostly will bet after the cut, but with the suspension never got a chance.

So far only two I like. May look at more in the morning sleep is challenged at best.

As far as futures only lost 1 of my pre-tourney guys. But none I feel will challenge unles they go really low and the leaders stall. I did play Rose +600 $50. Wanted Rose and day before 3rd round but never got any lines. GL trying to get rest.

Futures sucked but I laid off the top people trying to hit a longshot type of play, lowest odds were +3100 Only invested $60 in them. Was pretty frustrated I couldn't get any Day and Rose at the end of the 2nd round. My book as far as I saw never posted odds with the 2nd round finishing Saturday. Took Rose last night at +600 for $50. Oh well
