"McDirt" -105 best I have seen so far. gotta hand it to "Bamm-Bamm" though. hell of a tourney so far for a 57 year old "geezer"
LOT of "Spieth buzz" after his back side Friday. he is -110 vs Rory for Saturday and I saw an adjusted odds 8-1 "to win" on him. he has shot "bombers" at Augusta before

Not sure there's a harder sport to handicap. Had Rory and Bubba today, laid two eggs. Yesterday barely won with Rory and lost with Speith. 1-3 and feeling lucky to be there.
I took Phil for the tourney against Thomas and that's the only thing looking bright. I'll skim around here and listen to ideas though because I'm a sicko.

adding a 3rd round match. Taking Couples(-105) over McGirt. This will be the debutante's first moving day. The experience advantage for Freddy could be worth a stroke or two and McGirt is not a bomber. I feel that if you are going to fade Couples its best to do it on Sunday when his body will be tired. Did you really just put McGirt off the tee in the same ballpark as Couples? I have never really posted on the golf forum but McGirt is having a bad season in which he is normally a top 90 in DD and Couples is a senior, I trust couples much more with the irons but off the tee I would take McGirt 10/10 and I don't even know if I'll play this matchup

The longest driving avg Thur was 287, yesterday was 312. With clear weather and no wind today, maybe 330? Thur/Fri a lot of 3 woods off the tee box to prevent trouble.
Eagles on par 5s and a LOT more birdies coming up. The 270 bangers who are straight and steady and make their pars who have been hanging around the top with -1/E/+1/+2 gonna fade quickly.
Some ideas:
Leishman 36 holes - 2 birdies
Moore 36 holes - 4 birdies
Hadwin - 4
Thomas - 4
Berger - 4
Day - 4
Kjeldsen - 5
Players who may have adjusted their putting
Wiesberger - 0 birdies Thur / 5 Fri
Matsuyama - 1 Thur / 5 Fri
Rahm - 2 Thur / 4 Fri
Schwartzel - 2 Thur / 5 Fri
Garcia - 1 Thur / 6 Fri
Couples - 2 Thur / 6 Fri
Spieth - 3 Thu / 5 Fri
Scott - 3 Thu / 7 Fri
Top Birdie Leaders Thru 36
Hoffman 11
Scott 10
Holmes 10
Pieters 9
Westwood 9
Rose 9
Players with 8 birdies
Speith
Mickelson
Dufner
Fowler
Couples
Players struggling with Putts/GIR
Justin Thomas
Hahn
Paul Casey (5 - 3 putts)
Pampling
Holmes (inconsistent high birdies bad putting 4 - 3 putts)
Snedeker
Players putting well
McGirt (not many birdies but no 3 putts)
Fowler
Walker
Pieters
Oosthuizen
Hoffman (inconsistent)
Day
Mickelson
Garcia (0 3 putts, one of only a few to achieve this)
Its more complicated than this of course but maybe a foundation to start from. Good luck.
