You really don't think that the big % of money wont be on Tiger at +150-60 over a guy you just called wet behind the ears? Tiger is a dumpster fire right now, there are better plays this week then backing Tiger.  Anything can happen but I have never know any book to be in the business of giving money away.

"Vegas"  (like all the books are connected) doesn't care who you bet, they just want you to bet... They don't know who's going to win or lose and they arent trying to trick you..

They take the losers money and give it to the winners and make their money by holding it while the game is going on... And from that 10% they charge you for making the bet...your not betting against "Vegas"... "Vegas" doesn't gamble.. they always "win"

Don't be ignorant- the only place I hear people talk like this is at covers an ignorant sports guys on the radio who don't know any better..

Once again...Vegas didn't try to trick people into betting on Tiger Woods..They set a line that would get equal play on both sides and they are more than happy to just get the vig

. I just can't believe I have to explain this to people on a gambling website

You can tell who people are betting on by how the line moves???? Please tell me you know that???  More people bet on Wilcox yesterday and that's why he went up to - 180.  They adjusted the line so they could attract more money on Tiger, not because they know Tiger will lose but because they want 50 percent bet on both sides and will adjust the line to get that... so the betting public determines the line.. not some secret cabal of of insiders in Vegas..

People started betting on Tiger last night and now he's + 145...see how this works...? And if you want to know the truth these golf bets are sucker bets because the take out or rake is like 25%... You'll never overcome that in the long run... that's what Vegas makes on the pool of money bet..so they just want the biggest pool of money they can attract..it's hard enough to win in the long run with a 10% rake, 25% is impossible But I'm retired, I love golf, and I bet purely for entertainment purposes only...and I can afford it 

So don't tell me there are better bets when they're all bad.. I've been in this business for 45 years and the only people making money consistently are the people selling you picks and the people taking your bets.
