US Open Long Shots

Let me start off by saying that NEITHER Phil or Tiger will be winning the US Open next month. I have a long-shot in mind who has the experience and capabilities of playing well under pressure and is a 2-time Major Champion who won the open just 4 years ago and his name is Angel Cabrera. My local is offering 80-1 on him and I just placed 50 to win 4k. Bet your arse I'll be rooting for him

unfortunately i couldn&#x27;t put 50 down on Cabrera, max was 25. I put 25 on him @ 80:1 and 25 on Graeme McDowell @ 50:1

. I really think he has what it takes, but I might be blinded by my futures bet. Still, at 80:1 you can&#x27;t go wrong with a money man like Angel. That dude straight up chain smokes in the pressure situations and is able to channel the pressure to better his game

I know, we have no way of betting there but I like to check with a betting exchange before putting in futures wagers like these to see how the prices stack up.

Cabrera is a solid choice. This tournament will be WIDE OPEN and if you look at who has won over the past 10 years, if you take Tiger out, then you can see that trend. Non-US players are dominating the Majors right now. I don't see a real young player winning or a real old player...find someone in that 27-45 range that has been playing well and can hit fairways and putt.

Westwood, Stricker, Choi, Snedeker, Donald and many many more can win it
