The final Major of the year is here!! The 2014 PGA Championship will be held at Valhalla GC in Louisville, KY. A beautiful Nicklaus design measuring over 7,400 yards. The Par 71 track has the typical Nicklaus footprint. Not to demanding off the tee but the second shot is what will separate the men from the boys. Got to get it close and in the right quadrant to score. GIR and putting machines should do well this week.

why the fade of phil?  seems like he is playing better and loves this course.  BOL.

I think Fowler and Keegan have the better game AT THE MOMENT.

Phil with no Top 10's this year...

Keegan T4 in three of his last six starts...

Fowler Top 5 in first three Majors this year...

The only thing that scares me is Phil can go all out with the driver at Valhalla

Hard to argue with his season thus far, but he seemed to get things going on Sat and Sun in Akron.  And he loves Vahalla.  As you say, he can go all out with the driver.  I am hesitant but think we see a big week from him.  Thanks for your thoughts.

I just don't think a good Saturday and Sunday last week is going to get it done this week....IMO

That's good...but I also like Reed +2500 and Watney +4500 for value

I know I'm being a square but this is Rory's time to up his game to elite....at 5-1..gonna bite......Fowler at 10-1 top American looks good too....GL....

Books are running scared on Rory afraid to put out the real number I have Rory at  15/1 from an earlier play but I think he should still be 8/1 not 5/1....Value on Kuchar,Bradley, Garcia  and Fowler like Reed for top 10.

Is poulter at +4000 to finish top 20 worth a shot? Hasnt played well i know but 2012 ryder cup at valhalla?

He's been having some issues with something...don't remember exactly what though.

I'd have to pass on that one...

On the Cabrerra bet as well. Just watching PGA on Golf Channel, he Tee off and they mentioned stricker has a torn muscle in his hip, that he and woods are feeling for each other. Cabrerra played OK last week and stricker very poorly.

I have no idea where the odds came from but @+120 on Cab. is a dream... Making big bet on it...

 

They are describing course as of course, long, but Iron play is really important, I guess the right side of most greens is open to a good landing and easy puts. That brings a few into play, like Cab, johnson,...

Solid iron play for sure this week....as I said in my OP, this is a second shot track.

Cabrera down to +110 now...

You don't have to drive it well this week...last week they had to and he came out with a T4 (2nd straight WGC top 5).

He's a decent putter and is strong on Par 4's...

Oh ya....he's won twice this year too

Got my hopes on that 63 as i AM GONNA LOSE THE STRICKER / cABRERRA bet already... Sad, and feels setup...

I do know there is a load of cooruption in Soccer betting. HBO special really opened my eyes to the gambling problems around the world. I am sure once the Mafia seen that the Asians were doing it, they started laying out their plans...

Not in the US. Got to believe they start working on places like Columbia and Mexico... But something like this could be a great gamble for them. lay out news on strickers hip. Cabrerra plays well weeks leading up. Bet and odds seemed so good and too good to be true.

I jumped it and have to wonder about high rollers. How easy would it be for the mafia to LOSE cabrerra's clubs on the flight, etc...
