Day 1 thoughts:

-English and Horschel both looked great today. Very fine form.
-What a comeback by McDowell!
-the top half of Gary Player bracket is weak right now.
-A handful of guys played -6 today through their respective holes. Horschel in 13, Sterne and Manassero in 14, English in 15, Matsuyama in 17 and McDowell in 19 .. Its match play and it rewards this aggressive attacking of birdies
