Warriors +1 will be a loser.
1-1 on the night. 32-13-1 NBA playoffs 3-1 +3.8 units Shoulda went with original lean. But. I overthought it. I thought was possible Warriors just sweep. But. Wrong pick! Now we can stop romanticizing the winning teams and bashing/over analyzing losing teams in this thread. It's the finals. 2 good teams. Tough to win on the road! LBJ was pretty good tonight! Onto the next one! |

No Cavs players had their mind on the game. How do you guys explain it You, nor I, nor the announcers, or anyone has any idea what the NBA players we've never talked too in person had there minds on. The first 2 games are over which occurred on the Warriors home court where losing doesn't happen much. Yes, the Cavs played terrible. Yes, the Warriors bench was fantastic. The Warriors defense and defensive effort in general was fantastic. Boguts defense in the 1st quarter in game 2 was vital to playing a part in breaking the Cavs spirit. He was a monster. Lebron, Kyrie, Love....they all need to play better. Help if JR Smith has a huge shooting game which is much more likely going back home. Thompson have a big game controlling the boards. All these things are possible when the game is not AT Golden State. So I don't know how important it is to know why that happened. Is there some carry over or change the dynamics of the next game? I'm not sure. I doubt it. Now, moving forward the focus should be how do any of us make money for game 3? Different game. Different arena. A lot of new factors in play. Right now I'm leaning Cavs for game 3 but I still haven't decided. Maybe the under? Not sure. Couple days to try to figure out how to make some money! |

To be clear I don't agree with any of the opinions expressed in this thread. Haha
Nothing's rigged.....Cavs didn't tank.....they played on the home court of one of the best NBA teams to ever play. Great teams break spirits. Role players historically have a harder time performing on the road. First finals for Irving. Many good players underperform in first Finals appearance. Golden State has two stars in Curry and Thompson. Cleveland has one. Add Draymond Green playing at that level and it's a tough task for any opposing team. Warriors point differential in first 2 games made it clear what the right bet was. If you lost your bet and you're mad about it, that sucks. But move on. Make better decisions. Sometimes best thing is to just say "I was wrong. Move onto the next" |

30-12-1 NBA playoff record
1-0 NBA Finals +3 units I like the 2-2-1-1-1 format of Finals but game 2 not being til Sunday is a real buzzkill. No reason for that layoff when next game is in same arena. Oh well. Hopefully another winner Sunday! |
