Today is the semis in the conference that I follow the closest. I like both dogs to cover the spread in the two games as I believe vegas has set the number too high in both.
St Francis U (PA) +7.5 In the battle of the St Francis schools think vegas has made this number too high. I see this game as a dog fight going down to the wire. There is so much pressure on brooklyn to win this whole thing and end their draught of never making the tourney. The red Fash have an experienced team that dominated a tough mount squad on the road in their first game. I will be pulling for brooklyn to win bc it will be a great story for them to win it all but they won't cover 7.5 Bryant +6.5 Bryant is another senior laden squad that can compete with anyone in the conference. They almost knocked off pitt a few weeks ago on the road and there is no reason they can't keep it close to bobby mo here |

Both played Mount Saint Mary's. UMES best the mount on their home floor by 10 and Bucknell lost at home to the Mount.
Take it for what it is worth but I'll take UMES getting 10 points here. |

This is a match up of the two top teams in the NEC tonight which will be televised on ESPNU at 8:00. On the surface one might say that this is an easy pick in taking the team that is undefeated in the conference and already beat the other team in their own gym. If that were the case you would be on Robert Morris. The reason I like Bryant to cover and win is b/c last year the two teams split with each winning on the other's home court. Also RMU recently suspended four players for the year leaving them with only 8 active on the roster. One of them was impact freshman Jeremiah Worthem who gave the Colonials an inside presence to a team that doesn't have many. The game will feature the two best shooters/scorers in the NEC in Robert Morris's Karvel Anderson and Bryant's Dyami Starks. So if one player goes off obviously that team will win. I think the Bulldogs come into the RAC tonight and take down the Colonials with Alex Franics having a big night Bryant +4 and ML |

In a rematch of a first round NCAA tourney game from 1999 the Mount travels to East Lansing to play the number one team in the nation. I know a lot about the NEC and the Mount so I with that there is no way that I see they keep this game with in 30 points. This team was supposed to have pretty much their whole team back this year from a team that made it to the NEC championship game last year before losing to LIU Brklyn. However the NEC Freshman of the year transferred at the last minute who has really hurt this team's depth. They seem to be a different team this year on the road verse at home and ofcourse there is no bigger road test than having to play Sparty at their place as the #1 team. Look for Michigan State to run all over the Mount who will press and try and shoot a ton of 3s. I see a 92-56 type game here. Pounding: Michigan State -26 |

Never seen anything like it, worst refereeing I have ever seen, only explanation is these guys have straight cash on UIC. They just called three straight Technicals on Wagner, what a joke

Love La Tech laying 7 tonight verse the Bonnies. This team has been scoring at an absurd clip so far this season and have beaten both teams they have played in the tourney in Florida in laughers. St Bonnies had to play a tough game in the semis verse a game Wagner team and used a lot of energy to fend them off. Love LA tech to come out and jump all over St Bonnie.
LA Tech -7 |

RMU's experience? They actually lost most of their experience form last year's team. None of the players now haven been in the program for over 2 years. They lost 3 starters from last years team. Kentucky will have a huge advantage down low as RMU is a perimeter team even more so this year. I like UK to win this by 30 |

SB +10.5 Love this line for this late afternoon early evening tip off. I give the Seawolves a 10% chance of pulling the upset so I will take that with the double digit spread. |

Also on Toledo +9. Way too many points for the preseason MAAC West champs against a vulnerable BC team. I think they have a 20% chance to win the game SU |

Have former Gtown transfer and CAA Preseason POY Bennimon plus a bunch of JUCO former transfers that are seniors now. Pretty solid team

Probably the biggest home game for Towson in who knows how long as they welcome in Temple. At first glance one would think Temple getting 5 how the hell do I not take them!? However this is a good Towson team that returns everyone including CAA Preseason POY and Gtown transfer Bennimon. Temple is going to take a big step down this year as they graduated the majority of their roster. Look for the Tigers to come out hot in front of the home crowd in Bmore tonight, not to mention it will be televised on NBC Sports. Towson -5 |
