1-2 yesterday in the association. Hoping today is a little better....
Minnesota ML -130 I don't trust the Wizards to close a tight game and the Wolves have played crappy lately, but have a much better resume to date. More to come. |

24-16 (60%) +$545
Lakers / Blazers U191 ($345/300) Tonight we'll be making a play on the late TnT late game between the Lakers and the home Blazers. Everyone knows the Blazers are one of the top teams in pace and push the ball all over the court (score points; wear teams out etc). This team has scored 100+ in all but one game. All 3 home games went over 100 as well. Well we have our 4th home game and we're at 190/191 which is pretty low for a Blazers home game. IMO. It's also on TnT where all the public will tune in and bet "Overs" thinking we have the Lakers and Kobe Bryant and we have the Blazers and their pace. What i think casual bettors will over-look is that the Lakers are bringing a defensive mentality with coach Brown and the Blazers are actually only allowing 43% FG's... The Lakers are allowing only 40% from the floor themselves. Their 3 point FG% allowed has been absurd. LAL allowing 30% and Blazers allowing 26% from 3 point range. The Lakers are only shooting 24% from 3 anyways so there probably wont be a ton of those. Both teams playing good defense and i would expect this to be under the total... 95-90 Play on the under. |

VT / Michigan U52
($220/200) My power ratings show Michigan as 1.5 favs and I'm not sure I see a huge difference here. I do like the under tonight and expect solid defense....27-24 type of game. |

19-13 YTD Bulls / ATL U183.5 ($330/300) Also have Jazz, but im buying off that and getting Milwaukee to wash that bet out. I dont like that line move at all and not risking it. Might have something else but i dont know. |

Milwaukee +5
($330/300) Denver on B2B2B and the first two legs were against the Lakers. I think the Bucks can run with them tonight and probably muscle them around honestly. |

18-12 YTD = 60%
+ $335 SAS -5 ($330/300) Minnesota off a blow out win vs Dallas and on B2B. Yet they're 5/5.5 dogs at home. You don't think the public will bite on a team that played Miami, OKC and Dallas tough at home and witnessed a massacre last night? I'll have something else just waiting for another number. |

My power ranking: SC -5
Pick: SC -2.5 (-120) ($360/$300) I am going with South Carolina here as i think their defense will take this game over. I will say that i don't believe South Carolina has a ton of great victories, but they do have more quality wins than Nebraska. SC did beat Georgia (w/ Lattimore) and beat Vandy, Miss ST and Florida. Nebraska beat Michigan State (bad spot for MSU) and Penn State / OSU. The SC defense can stop the run and i don't see Taylor Martinez passing on one of the best pass defenses in the country. So as long as they can bottle up the Nebraska running game and take care of the ball they should win. My power ranking: OK ST -1 Pick: Stanford +4.5 ($330/$300) I like Stanford here and grabbing the points. Both of these teams have great offenses with pro talent (Luck/Blackmon etc) but one thing stood out to me was how Stanford was good at keeping the ball away from opponents as OK ST scored fast and gave the opposition alot more plays. Stanford isn't a team you want to give more plays to. My power ranking: Michigan St -3 Pick: Michigan ST +3.5 (-120) ($360/$300) SEC bias here as i think on a neutral field that Michigan state has a great chance to cover IMO....Georgia beat the teams they should have beaten and lost to teams that are considered to be tough (Boise, LSU and S. Carolina). Michigan State lost to Wisconsin. Nebraska (off their win vs Wisconsin) and ND. But the loss to Wisconsin was by 3. Michigan ST is stout against the rush and can put up points on offense. Like them in a tight game. My power ranking: Florida -3 Pick: Florida ML (-120) ($240/$200) The only thing i worry about is turnovers for Florida. |
