Hey guys,

I'm currently going through legal issues and have been out of work for 6 months. I use to work in finance but an altercation at a party lead to some pretty serious charges brought against me, so as it stands, I have a criminal record that comes up as 'pending charges' so whenever a potential employer does a back ground check, they aren't interested.

So in the mean time I had to sell my laptop, camera, and other goods that I owned, to pay rent. It sucks that one incident, in a matter of 10 seconds, can effect your entire future. As a result, I eventually had to move out of my apartment and in with family. I am now on government benefits until my trial next year.

I am attempting to make $1,500 so I can buy myself a new laptop, so I can follow my hobby as a writer and relaunch my website and do some freelance writing. I write a lot about politics, sports, religion, education, and my favourite.. Poetry. I write poems about addiction, alcohol, sex, love, and depression. I think quite a lot of you on here would be able to relate.

So today I got every cent I had $220 and am attempting to make $1,500 as stated previously. Buying a laptop and having the ability to write and express myself will give me purpose again. I have been spending my months sitting around watching tv and eating junk food. It's not a way to live.

So my first bet today was all of my $220 on Chicago Bulls. I picked that because of the emotions of wade first game, Boston being on a back2back and I genuinely thought Bulls seemed like the better team especially at home. I am temporarily going to believe in them, I think all basketball fans are kind of secretly rooting for them, Bulls in the playoffs is always a good thing. I think they will drop some pretty big games through out the season though. Bigs will let them down. So as we all know, Bulls got the win, thank god for wade pulling through in the clutch. Isaiah Thomas nearly got the job done during the stretch because of the 3 minutes in the 4th where Bulls couldn't hit a shot to save their life.

So that has taken me up to $400.
I have now put that $400 on Lakers/Utah OVER. The reasoning for this, simple.. The NBA is such an offensive league now, it's hard to take an unders. I think 75% of games so far has ended with both teams scoring over 100 points. As a life long laker fan, I know that this lakers team can't play defense. I love Luke and what he's brought to the table, but they will put up a lot of 110+ point games and lose because they let their opponents score just as much and then some...

Historically, lakers and jazz have been quite low scoring games, however this season there is a lot better ball movement since we don't have the entire offence being ran through the GOAT. Jazz put up over 100 in their first game against a good Portland side. I don't see why they won't be able to do it against the lakers. I had to jump on 201.5 it's a given in my opinion. I was expecting it around the 209-210 mark.
