@LVTruck
Yes, HP umpire Lance Barrett has one of the biggest strike zones in MLB. Between that and the wind holding the ball up in the air this has helped somewhat to keep the game scoreless thus far. |

In my opinion, Brandon Staley needs to go. He doesn’t put his players in a position to succeed. I understand analytics, but successful coaches know the specific game situation is more important than statistics. He seems to have no feel for game flow and how his decisions impact the rest of the game. I can still remember when he went for it on 4th down inside his own 30-yard line and failed. I’ve never seen anything like it in 40+ years of watching football. At this point, Staley’s in-game decisions have become absurd. Imo, of course. https://www.latimes.com/sports/story/2023-09-30/letters-sports-brandon-staley-chargers-dodgers-deion-sanders |

Me too. I wasn’t sure on the game so I placed Army ML parlayed with the over 28 and Vegas in the NHL. When Army held off that late Navy comeback by stopping them at the 1-yard line with only a few seconds left I turned it off in frustration. 10 minutes later I logged into my account and thought there had been a grading error until I looked at the box score and realized what had happened. Nice! Too bad Navy went for the 2 instead of kicking the extra point with about 2:50 remaining. Nevertheless, like you, I’ll gladly take it. |

Yes. I misread Saturday’s box score. Thanks. |

Under this system, the Braves would have been a play today, but for that Mets 3rd run scored late in yesterday's game. Is this true? |

@Bluejay50 I don’t understand why Notre Dame is struggling so badly either. They did lose Guard Blake Wesley to the 1st round of the NBA Draft following his productive freshman season and Sr. Guard Trey Wertz has never played well imo. Regardless, Laszewski, Goodwin and Ryan should have been solid, strong producers this year to go along with Freshman JJ Starling. It certainly has not worked out whatsoever though. Their offense is really terrible so far this year, except for the few games that they get hot from outside. In all other games, their offense has proven to be awful and painful to watch. Brey has been a very solid coach for a long time, but if this pathetic play continues into next year I doubt that he will be around much longer. |

The more I look at this game, the more I like the over here. I added to my earlier over wager and also played the 1H Over 27 -127. Happy New Year to all. |

Since there is some backlash to me attempting to make a legitimate point about another member’s post being reckless, I will do as I was asked and give my opinion on “Hammer Penn State +2.” FYI - I am a busy man and I take wagering seriously. As such, I rarely post unless I have the time and feel very confident about both the outcome and line advantage at issue. This post is an exception. Essentially, I believe Utah is the better team, has the better coach and matches up well with Penn State. It all starts in the trenches. Utah is stronger on both lines and that is critical when the matchup is otherwise arguably even. The trenches are where games are more often than not won or lost. IMO, the opt-outs of Joey Porter Jr. & Clark Phillips III are a wash. There should be enough points to hit the over. Nevertheless, I believe that Utah lead by Cameron Rising will prevail in one of the tougher bowl games to predict this year. I played Utah ML -115 for my average wager and over 53 for half of my ML wager. Please see the “Hammer Penn State +2” thread for background on why I’m even sharing this play. Happy New Year to all of you regardless.

@spottie2935 Wtf??? Wow. I hope you really are under 18. Regardless, I’ll go back to the NHL forum where people share genuine knowledge and are actually helpful and productive. |

@dayknight Ok. I’m sorry I interrupted your children’s fantasy analysis. If you ever wager any substantial money and lose, then you will finally understand my point. Carry on…. |

@spottie2935
Thanks for the information, but I was there last year and saw everything. I know what happened. Being able to sit so close to the action is priceless if you know the game well. My point had little to do with the game, spottie. Some people on this website wager with real money. I was simply pointing out that the post was worthless and even damaging unless you are reading it for pure entertainment only. |

@Defense17 No offense, but when you post “Hammer Penn State +2” without any rationale or logic to back it up, you aren’t doing anyone any favors whatsoever. When asked directly for your reasoning, your response was less than thoughtful or intelligent. Did you watch what TCU did to the Michigan team you use as rationale? The same Michigan team that played one of the weakest, pathetic schedules I’ve ever seen in a CFB Playoff team? That game was damning. FWIW- I watched last year’s Rose Bowl from excellent seats about 20 rows back midfield on the Ohio State side. Even after Utah’s clutch QB Cameron Rising went down with injury, Utah stayed toe to toe with the Buckeyes while CJ Stroud was having an epic, historic day. Missing a starting TE in that offense isn’t going to affect the end result in my opinion. The only opt-out player could possibly negatively impact Utah is All-American CB Clark Phillips III. This site exists for us to help each make informed, educated, profitable wagers. That draws clicks and advertising money to fund this operation. I’m not saying Penn State won’t cover, but I’m saying that your post is reckless and seriously flawed. Its also annoying to anyone who understands football

This 2H performance by both teams has been complete garbage. I find it hard to believe many genuinely predicted a 2H like this. The Bills look like they are going through the motions. My mistake for trusting in them in this spot. |

@BIGDTITLE You don't need to apologize to me for living in the Fort Worth, TX area. Or for your recent admission in another forum that you are currently searching for tickets to watch women's tennis this week in person. I respect your right to spend your time however you may choose. Enjoy. |

@Bay2LA I took them 2H -3 as well. Also filled out some open parlays with Bills 2H ML -170. Bills keep the peddle on the gas and GB is overmatched. |

@chillinghard09 I played the over 51 big. I also have it over 50 -128 to close out a few parlays. Hopefully Notre Dame can score enough to get this one over. Drew Pyne is capable of having a good night or a disastrous night. If it's the latter, then I see the strong possibility of a pick six. |
