forget all of that.   

Scherzer's divine medicine that restores him to CY YOUNG Form is Verlander's success.  the more times Verlander goes out and throws blanks, the more empowered Scherzer will be.    his adrenaline will spike, his velo will spike, his focus on every pitch will be more intense because scherzer has always walked with the mentality of  Your not better than me.  

some of you will understand this. Some will not because not everyone in life has the michael jordan, Kobe bryant, magic johnson, larry bird. Scherzer ego, drive competitive nature.
