created a topic Riding The Rangers in MLB Betting Record:3-2 Just got back from the book and have you ever noticed how miserable the guys that take your bets are? I mean for real, I would assume that they have one of the best jobs on the strip but those fools always look like they just took it in the poop shoot until the wee hours of the morning. And attitudes. Talk about attitudes. You would think that they actually know who is going to win these games. Hell, I even try to go to the ladies sometimes and they are the same way. Maybe I just need to find a different book they can't all be this way. Anyways on to today's pick. I rolling with the Texas Rangers again tonight. I mean really they are the best team in baseball and for some reason the book has great lines on these guys. created a topic Letting It Ride On The Fat Guy in MLB Betting Record: 2-2 Back to even and feeling invincible at this point. Not going to waste any time making any bets on the NBA today. Those guys pretty much do whatever they feel like doing on a day to day basis so I am basically out at this point. I will watch but no more money wasted on those jabronies. Yesterday the Rangers came through for me and I wanted to bet on them again but my damn boss is a slave driver and he wouldn't let me run to the book and then he started mumbling something about degenerate this and that. I think if he keeps it up I'm going to invite him out for a beer after work tomorrow and serve his cold one up with a side of knuckle sandwich!! That guy really grinds my gears!! Enough about the negative onward with today's pick. Letting it ride on the New York Yankees. They have the fat man on the mound with his damn pants pulled all the way down over his shoe strings. What the hell is that? It looks like he is wearing pinstriped sweat pants or something. created a topic 1-0 yesterday I'm on a hot streak in MLB Betting Record: 1-2 So like some of you guys I live in Las Vegas and I get the pleasure of going directly into the casino straight to the sports book to make my bets. None of this online betting for me. I have the option to download the ap and make my bets from my phone but I find it more fulfilling to go directly to these jabronies sitting at the book and telling them what my bets for the day are. Not to mention the fact that when I have used the aps I have never went and actually taken my money out. I usually get hammered one night after a successful run and end up making a bunch of dumb bets that I regret in the morning. Looking at today's card nothing really jumps out at me so I'm going to be really uncreative and go with the same pick that I made yesterday. Texas Rangers. Let's get this money!!!!! created a topic Roll Rangers in MLB Betting Record:0-2 Off to a clunky start on this whole Covers Forum thing here. So far my system of picks seems to be flawed but still I must stay the course. This system has no rhyme or reason I just pick my bets based on the random occurrences that life throws at me on the reg! Today I'm rolling with the Texas Rangers. This pick is based solely on the awesome time I had at one of their games a couple of years ago with my good friend Lisa. We ate some of the Nolan Ryan beef sandwiches and pounded ice cold beers until they escorted me out of the stadium for being drunk in public. At least they didn't arrest me!!! The next night we went to see Dave Matthews Band at Gexa. So cool to see all the local ladies in their cutoff jean shorts and cowboy boots. My only baseball play for the day will be on the Texas Rangers. Hamels is on the bump and I can't make it to the sports book until noon and that's pretty much my only reasoning. Scientific shit right there. I may be back later in the day to make a hockey pick unless I start pounding too many beers at the pool resulting in multiple cannon balls which usually impress the ladies.
