jimbo I handicapp the game without looking at the lines I make up my own lines and then look at the Vegas lines and see what's the difference between them I do that in basketball and football. I'm not trying to get attention  I'm not sure of the line in this game. Ohio St is the more balanced team and think if they stop the running game of Notre Dame they have the better team and  are more balanced. Think Ohio St defense can slow down Notre Dame offense  and Ohio St wins and covers. Have been watching all these Freeman clips about ND and he is so convincing. I cant imagine his players being up for the game tonight I love that he made his team sit and watch the Nortern Illi team and fans celebrate their upset win over his team. Since that lockeroom video think ND has been on a mission . I like Freeman a lot as a coach but think Ohio St defesne can slow down the Irish offense and Ohio offesne will be able to move the ball and score vs ND defesne. Who do you like Jimbo tonight. It's easier then criticizing someone in their post. I respect everyone here and do not mind criticism . I am wrong many times . Hopefully not tonite   Good luck who ever you back . 

Texas St -9.5 over Ga So ***
Going to the game tonite Looked at notes from last yrs game . Think Gumbs the now pt gd from Tx St was unstoppable . Last yr they beat them 83-61 Gumbs was in control with 8 assists and handled the ball all game and had 1 turn over. Pope is playing very well for the Bobcats and is leading scorers. Bobcats play tough D and if Gumbs plays like he did last year and if Eagles play no D think the Bobcats win at home and cover . Eagles coming off a few Rd losses and think tonite will have trouble in San Marcus .

Texas +2.5 over Oklahoma **
Think Texas controls the bds and plays better D

Fordham -1.5 over Umass **
Rams are home in Rose Hill where they play much better then on the road . Post game meal is across the street at White Castles ..from the university ...

North Texas -3 over ECU ***
Think North Texas wins on the road tonite ..This is my alma mater vs my sons alma mater . Think Dad takes home the cover

Great Champoinshio game  Have not looked at the line but I will guess its Ohio St -9 to -11 favored  Not sure what the opening line is but I still think Ohio St is the best balanced team left in college football Will play Ohio St -11 or -12  Ken pom is checking to see if Pope Francis has any relatives in Ohio  If he does the line will drop some  Should be a great game  Hate going against my Cathloic boys but will stay with the Buckeyes  Back later to explain more 

Mary -3.5 over Sacred Heart ***
Mary play better defense. They have won 4 of last 5 where Heart has lost a few in a row. Mary at home wins and covers this game

Penn St pk'im over Notre Dame ***
Tough game but think Penn St's Tight end is the small lean Both defenses are outstanding . ND did an outstanding job on Georgia. Penn St is averaging 34 pts in these last 2 games. To me ND rushing attack can be neutralized after what Penn St did to Boises superstar. The line of scrimmage is the key of the game . Everyone is saying that. Close game but think the Penn St tight end makes a play at the end and Penn St moves closer to the finals of the playoffs

Stop Skattebo . Iowa St game plan that didn't work was empahaized by loading the box,practice all week " veritically,keeping him in front of you,Gang tackling etc etc It didn't work because he gained 166 yds on 16 carries and scored 2 touchdowns and 2 receptions for another 40 yds . He has a low center of gravity and "once he gets his engine going he is hard to stop". Teams all year have devised ways to stop him but all failed But Texas D is underrated because of all the headlines their offense gets most of the front pages of the sports sections. Texas I think is one of the best teams on defense in the country. Skattebo is known for getting hit but missed tackles he continues to gain yds. He uses his stiff arm to Ward off tackles. You hit him and he causes you to miss him . He has great feet and balance. But Texas has the 12th best rushing defesne in the country and are very athletic and quick. Texas DL and LB's are quick and strong Texas Db's are athletic and fast. And Zona who knows no one expected to be playing in this game are a 2 touchdowns underdog. But their Qb and players are talking smack about Texas. ASU QB is claiming to be better then Ewers and team etc If I am the zona coach I would tell my player the best way to get respect is to quietly beat their butts on the field Why give Texas more incentive with locker room headlines for them . Sneak up on them even though we kicked Iowa St ass's. Sark the Texas coach I'm sure is using the Sun Devils quotes in his locker room I think although no one has stopped Skattebo think they slow him down. It hasn't worked this year yet but think the Longhorns game plans are going to subsitute with different schemes to keep their star in check. Arizona St I think as a 2 touchdown underdog should keeps its smack talk down. It's ok to have some because you guys earned it but once you get this close as the italians say " Cuida la Boca " shut your mouth" Think Sark and his coaches come out and shut down the Sun Devils on defense and win by a few touchdowns Spoken like a true Longhorn homer that I have become . Think Indy Colts beat my NY Giants big today Think my Jints are playing for a better position in the NFL draft and tank the game today. I hate betting against them because everytime I bet against them they upset win or cover. And everytime I go to San Marcus to see Tex St play and I bet with them I lose . So today going against the " grain" Like Iona big over Harvard today

Army -6.5 over Navy ****

 Bryson Dailey is the difference . Plays the option better then many before him He has a fullback mentality when he runs and holds the ball  and runs over people...Also Army has Udoh who can break one anytime he touches the ball Navy's QB Horvath is excellent but is banged up  . Big emotional game both teams hate each other but respect each other. The under is 44-11 and in the last 21 years is 18-3 under in last 21.  But again Army has the best QB they have  maybe ever had in Bryson Dailey. Cannot watch the game and bet the under so think Army beats them by 3 Td's . Both defenses play solid D and both teams played pretty weak schedules. Army beat Tulane big and Navy struggled with the Wave But doing comparisons shopping in this game really doesn't;t matter . Army wins and covers by 2 TD's

I play racquetball everyday  But the guys I play with after 90 minutes of racquetball go over to play pickle ball for an hour Not as intense as racquetball esp/ because they play doubles but its a great fun game. Many malls that have closed down have opened up pickle ball courts in their malls . Very popular because you don't have to cover as much territory on the court. But racquetball is a much better workout  But its fun and we are using our muscles and being active. My wife still likes yoga and swimming at the YMCA but they are putting in 4 pickle ball courts next month at her Y. Pickle ball is fun esp. when your playing it with people you are friends with or know . But I am a " pool" of sweat after playing intense racquetball every morning  No comparison to the workout. 

stl I know they did but think Big red have trouble with Bears 4 gds .  It's much easier playing D vs. a post player but when you have 3 or 4 guys that can put the ball down on the floor its much tougher to guard against .  think Cornells defesne will have trouble stopping Cals offense.
