This is the scenario I was thinking about, basically extending the bet out to a hedge in the Super Bowl. Thanks for the help. Quote Originally Posted by Gooey_911:

So long as the AFC wins you have a respective profit of 6,500, 6700, or 14,500. Wait to see ML on SB but worst case scenario, bet NFC point spread for $5300 = your break even point should the AFC lose (den loss 2k, Bal loss 300, and NE loss 3k). Not counting vig - you break even or up 1,200, 1,400, or $9,200 - all for no more risk. You could adjust the numbers a little but I think you get the idea. Let me know if my math is wrong.... |

Really appreciate all the help with the different hedging options. There are numerous ways to make money on the ticket now to all you geniuses who didn't understand up top.
The Ravens were +6500 pregame week 17 when they needed a win and a SD loss just to get into the playoffs. Not worried about covering the $300, probably will let it ride one more week.

Holding a $300 ticket for Ravens to win SB at +6500 that I placed pregame week 17. Wondering if anyone can help me with any hedging options.
Current AFC Teams Odds to win the SB NE +307 DEN +490 IND +2200 My ticket pays out 19,500 - Wondering if there is a way to Hedge the ticket using AFC Super Bowl winner odds and or a combination of Ravens ML on Saturday to advance it forward. May need like an MIT math wiz for this one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
