I can't say that I agree on insuring a bet. Placing another bet on the same game isn't always favorable. I think it was mere coincidence rather than anything substantial. However, I will say you took some pretty bad losses on the chin. 10-10 isn't bad. You did well in the NFL. Stay away from NCAA totals, especially on non-prime time games. Those are a crap shoot, I don't know how anyone can handicap those unless they follow a particular school or two very closely game to game.
