replied to Collector Needed on CA local in Gaming Industry - US Sounds like I'm in the wrong forum. Just for sake of extending some learns for a few of you to bank for down the road...if it seems logical to hire someone through a message board to go collect your money then this is likely never a situation you will find yourself trying to resolve. Also, if someone is willing to offer 50/50 split to a party responsible for resolving an issue then it's likely that the person has already accepted that he "AINT GETTING PAID" and is merely just looking to take anything they can get. Those credit card collectors calling you bought uncollectable debt from the bank for no less than 50cents on the dollar...but why would they give away 50% if they could just go a few hundred miles and get it back themselves??? My intention in the forum was to find some best practice ideas from members who've had similar experiences and maybe tap into a network of resources w/specific expertise that has produced results in the past.
