NBA: Nuggets -4.5 @ 1.91 (-110)

Portland has been doing very well in the first games of the season, mainly due to Dame, who has scored 41 points each in the last two games, but I doubt he will be able to keep up the pace and play as good a game against the Nuggets - this will be their 3rd game in 4 days, and Dame has played an average of 38 minutes in each of them. In addition, I'd like to note that they won against the Lakers, but it was a pretty strange game - aside from the fact that the Lakers allowed a 16-6 run in the last 2 minutes of the game, LA scored 6 out of 33 3s, and what's funnier, most of them weren't even covered (you'll find a lot of videos where Nurkic doesn't even try to block the 3). The Blazers also won't have much time to rest after returning from LA to Portland.

As for Denver, aside from their first warm-up game, they are doing really well - Jokic is not disappointing, and Jamal Murray is slowly fitting back into the team. The meetings between these two teams are usually not close. The Nuggets are 7-2 SU and ATS in the last 9 meetings with the Blazers, additionally I would like to point out that 7 of these 9 meetings were won by the favorites, while the other two as underdogs were won by the Nuggets. The Nuggets have won 4 of their last 5 games by an average of 26 points.
