I don't see the Swiss scoring more than once if they even get a goal and Canada has a tendency to lay of the gas a bit after they go up. I personally played the under and Swiss + 6.5. created a topic Totals idiot attacks again in NHL Betting I have an abysmal record on actual posted, something like 0-2-2. That is probably why I don't post plays. I had the boston/edmonton under 5 which somehow hit in the end. Tonight I played the under 5 in PHX/Pitt though i realize it is poor form to post after the game has started, it is better than posting that I picked Ottawa after they went up 2-0. BOL to you all eh! replied to Hockey Day in Northern Canuckistan! in NHL Betting Well, that total was a bloody bust, 5 goals in one period. At least the push happened in the Winnipeg game for an 0-1-1 afternoon. I do like the over 5.5 in St. Louis at +100 and the under 5 in NJ/PHX game at +110, not sure if I will play them or not. Best of luck to everyone on their wagers tonight. created a topic Hockey Day in Northern Canuckistan! in NHL Betting I check the site all the time, don't normally post. Thought I would post a few afternoon plays and risk looking like an ass if i am wrong. Jets -1 (+100): I like the Jets to get it done at home against the hapless oilers. The Jets have an electric home crowd that will be feeling excited after firing the coach and winning some games. Sure they haven't played any good teams, but they have been winning handily and might as well ride it until they play a good team. Sharks/Lightning under 5 (+130): If Bishop is in net, then why not? If the Lightning and Islanders can play to a 2-1 SO game, why not the Sharks with a better defensive team than the Isles? I fear no worser than a push. I want to play the under in Ottawa/NYR, but after watching the debacle between Montreal and Ottawa where 20 goals should've been scored, I just don't have the heart.
