Yeah, honestly it wasnt a good idea.

I figured there would be "good people" in the forum. I poked around here for a while before i joined, and after that looked FOREVER for a local book. I was just trying to share good info.

are there any people who are looking for a local book who ARENT degenerates who dont pay?! apparently not. 995 of people should play online where you pay for your play.

what can you do?!

Hey there, I've seen a couple posts on here about people having trouble finding/getting PAID by their local . I had the same problem in my area. I followed the advice of the users on this site and staked out my neighborhood bar, overcame my nervousness, and asked around enough to find a guy. Never had trouble being paid, but I also never tried to screw him on payment. I admit I am probably a smaller player than most of you, but still a positive experience none-the-less.

So, after seeing all the people on here looking I decided to offer up a contact (to 2 people) here on the site with my local to a couple cats who PMed me:

Long story short, one bailed on a debt after ONE week (typical I guess) but the other worked out pretty well I suppose. I caught a lot of crap for the guy who bailed, as I vouched for someone who was more or less a stranger. Bad move.

Anyway, if anyone has any questions for me about how I tracked my local down, or if youre curious about anything just add me as a friend and drop me a line.

Hopefully i can share some inside experience for you, and help you find what you're looking for in your area.

There was a post like this a while back, and I know it all seemed kind of sketchy. Well, I've been here in the southeast and have not been able to find any sort of "local" book to deal with. I posted on here a few times and had no luck. Well... I over christmas I was lucky enoguh to stumble upon someone at the bar. I tried it out (small, very small) and lost about 75 dollars the first week (moneygrammed the money over), but the have ended up on the winning side the last few and he's paid out, no problem. and he does it the exact DAY I asked.

ALl Im saying is that I finally found someone local, not sketchy, and that has proven to be trustworthy. He says he deals with people all over the southeast...

So, if anyone is interested (i doubt there will be any), but drop me a PM and I can hook you up with a way to contact him via email.

Just trying to give back to the community.
