replied to New to covers, not new to gambling, will be postin in Penalty Box This will be my last comment, I am a man of my word. But one thing I gotta say. He was supposed to call heads! We had this coin given to me from Harry Houdini himself that only flips heads, and they were supposed to just say "heads". The refs knew that whoever got the ball first in OT was the team, bada bing bada boom, interference when there was no interference, and it is all in the bag but the guy made the wrong call on the coin. Heads are gonna roll all over the outfit tomorrow. This mistake was not one to be taken lightly, the syndicate lost a bundle tonight. Sorry fellas, this is similar to the time Sammy Baugh blew the coin toss in '56. We told him just say heads about 100 times and the guy says tails. Same tonight. I think you boys might know what happened in '56 in the aftermath, look for similar tomorrow. It was fun making new friends here at covers. You fellas are grand. I gotta run, Mickey Rooney is picking me up for a meal. For you young fellas, remember one thing, gambling and box are nothing but a bunch of trouble. I have been called many lousy things in my life but most to my face, this internet lets you say things like you do with no retribution. Thats ok but realize that in my day we took care of things with fists. Yah im older now but you would have to take me down to say something like that to me after i did nothing of the sort to you. Im up with the sun today, and looked for my topic but couldnt find it, but then a nice young man told me to come here to find it! If they move it again I will be very confused, I want to keep up with the fellas. But here I am alive for another day. I dont really know why so many of you like me or dont like me already but I am honored to be in your company of men. I have lived a while and have seen some of the greats like dimaggio stengel and even the babe himself when i was a little guy. This internet sure does take a getting used too! But its fun and i like you boys. As sinatra always said "I did it my way" and boy have i done it my way. I feel like I am part of the new rat pack here at this website with a new crew and I feel about ten years younger. I have seen it all boys, every side of this business, and have been on all sides of the law. When the bureau pinched my crew, they gave me the option to be "protected" so I chose it. Now I split time between canada and malaysia. What I wouldn't do for a seat at the old rainbow room with dean martin performing again and broads as far as the eye could see and not these new low class broads Im talking high class baby.
