thanx T-9, I saw that, I prefer Totals, but passed on it all together, not always good to have too many plays in 1 night anyway. But hoping to have a few more after the Indy.

adding 2 more units to the Indy/Minny Over.
Indy/Minny Over 78 (x4), maybe biggest play of the season to date for me

WNBA posted recorded at 4-2.
Have played many WNBA games this season though. Looking over my unposted plays the last two weeks, I'm 11-6. Going to try and post more since it's been a pretty good season for me.

Justin Verlander is obviously a much better at home.
From 2006 (1st full season) through today in 57 games, he is 31-14 with an era of about 3.6.
Most of his home appearances are against divisional teams, no surprise there. Those account for 31 of the 58 games to be exact. I believe the next highest is LAA, at 4 games.
Here are how those games breakdown within the division, at home:
Clev 5-3-1 58 innings, 24 runs, avgs to 6.4 inns, 2.6 runs/game
KC 4-0-2, 36 innings, 19 runs, avgs to 6 innings, 3.2 runs/game
Min 3-2-1, 37 innings, 15 runs, avgs to 6.2 innings, 2.5 runs/game
Cws 2-3-1 34.4 inn, 28 runs, avgs to 5.7 innings, 4.7 runs/game
the only other team worth nothing are LAA
LAA 0-2-2, 26.2 inn, 10 runs, avgs to 6.6 innings, 2.5 runs/game
I'm pretty sure he hasn't faced any other team more than 3 times. And of these teams faced 3 or more times, only 2 own a winning record against him, LAA, and CWS.
So to sum it up, when you take into account the number of games, record, and results, you could make a pretty convincing argument no team in baseball has handled Verlander at home better than CWS.
With Contrerus opposite him, that wasn't intended on making a case for the Sox, more so for the over.
Wouldn't be the shock of the world if it went under, although I do believe your just as likely to see 10 in by the 5th as well...

thanx, good luck. Got it at +105, 8.5 at my local.
Few random thoughts to close out my thinking:
People will have a hard time seeing game 2 go under, so are more likely to reason game 1 going under, especially seeing Verlander at home.
Also, each pitcher was dominate last time out against the opposition, so that'll be the freshest memory in bettors heads.

Good opportunity to take a shot at the over in my opinion...
Comparing each pitchers last 10 starts against the opponent:
Verlander @ Chi (6 starts)
Averages 7.3 innings, 3.5 runs allowed
Verlander Home vs. Chi (4 starts)
Averages 6.3 innings, 5 runs allowed
Contrerus Home vs. Det (5 starts)
Averages 6.7 innings, 3.6 runs allowed
Contrerus @ Det (5 starts)
Averages 5.62 innings, 5.6 runs allowed
The O/U in those games is 6-3 in favor of the Over. And 7-2 for the Over if the total was set 8.5 each time
In 09, Verlander/Contrerus combined have gone 17 innings, 1 run allowed (of course Verlander was @ Chi, Contrerus was home). In the lone start by either pitcher in Det, Contrerus went 5, giving up 5.
Chi's Offense does better overall in Det vs. Verlander. Scoring at least 5 runs in 3 out of those 4 games.
Chi's Offense at home managed to reach 5 or more runs in only 2 of the 6 above games.
Detroit's Offense scored 32 total runs in 5 games against Contrerus both home and away.
But when facing Contrerus at home, those totals were 5,5,6,7,9.
When on the road, they read 0,1,5,13,13.
So while at the end of the day, they got to 32 regardless, Det's offense has proven at least more consistent in hitting Contrerus at home.
Enough here to take a shot at the Over, I think.
Also, on the surface I think the easy way to go is 1st Under, 2nd Over, and I'm not so sure it'll work out exactly like that come the end of the day.

I feel good about this 2nd half over now, had it been setup where the total got you close to the full game line I'd probably pass. But figuring the majority lost on the 1st half Over and the Full Game total being a loser, I think I can sneak out with a 2nd half Over.
