Got some time, and had a really great start to the MLB season....might as well jinx it by posting some plays...
Braves +122 - Shelby Miller a dog to Koehler, lol. Huge Braves fan here (explained before, lot of Braves fans in Hawaii because when cable TV started - TBS and the Braves was the only game on TV). Unlike every single analyst and fan out there, I thought the trade was great. You get rid of auto out/brutal contract BJ, and the worst defensive LF in Gattis....Love Kimbrel and it killed me, but Saves can be manufactured. Look out their lineup now Higher OBP, BIP, better defensive metrics (Two Johnsons, Freeman, Markakis and company). Call me out on this post at the end of the year: Braves will have more wins and score more than 2014. Regarding today's game though, Marlins are still fielding a low OBP Triple AAA team.....they shouldn't be a favorite to anyone, especially Miller. Balt +109 and Over 7 - Watched this game the other day. You probably heard the TV analysts on the MLB Network. They have no idea wtf is going on with that ballpark, but the ball is flying out of there. So much so, that the unwritten rule to NOT watch your bp hits soar out of the park was broken by both teams as players put on hitting shows. Ball sure did seem to be flying during the game as well. Adam Jones, Davis, and Machado have yet to join the hit parade....got a feeling one or all of them get a couple hits tonight. Boston Phil Over 7 - Porcello contract will go down as one of the worst ever. Makes me wonder if the GM ever saw him pitch. Mediocre stuff. Don't believe me? Check out his career 4+ ERA and his rock solid over 1 hit per inning and high WHIP. Last year was a statistical anomaly with an ERA that low and WHIP that high. Harang is gas can, no need to go into numbers. Hate Phillies lineup, but always be aware that teams that get shut out usually put up 3+ in their next outing as they get focused... Pitt Over 7 - No numbers to support this play, just a strong feeling these two decent pitchers give up a few runs each to two very hard playing teams in a hitter's ballpark. Royals RL +170 - Love Duffy. Seems like everyone forgets KC was in the World Series |

Another bad road team in UCSB (3-9) making the long trip against a very strong home team in UH (13-4), in a revenge situation, giving one possession.
We saw this last week against LBSU, and it was never close. Oddsmakers failed to discount the heavy injuries UH sustained when they got crushed on their two game road trip, and it appears they haven't factored in UH getting healthy, as the returning starters continue to all heal from ankle sprains; logging more minutes and playing more effectively..... UH -2 1/2 550 to win 500 2014 2-0 (+1200) 2013 7-7 (-200) 2012 7-9 (-115) 2011 5-3 (+460) 2010 10-7 (+2480) 2009 3-4 (-1010) 2008 13-12 (-170) 2007 10-10-1 (+300) 2006 12-5-1 (+3175) 2005 13-8 2004 10-9 2003 10-1-1 |

Ty guys.....
Train.....been lurking.....real busy IRL....always check your plays though! Sad part of this near wire to wire double digit winner (if there is one) is that I narrowed my Survivor Pick #10 to two plays: FIU +5 and UH. I had UH as my top pick over FIU.......for some idiotic reason I took FIU for Survivor...... Great, now I wait for for Covers Hat with eager anticipation.....

UH -2
Hawaii in a revenge spot at Home (12-4) vs poor road team LBSU (3-12). Two of three injured starters return tonight (Thomas and Valdez) for UH, Nevels remains out... UH -2 550 to win 500 |

UC Davis -5 1/2
Second road game for UH and they are from healthy. Three starters were injured in the closing minutes of their blowout win against CSF two games ago. SG Fleming is out with a sprained ankle. PF Mike Thomas and dynamic forward Aaron Valdez are also hobbled by sprained ankles and were ineffective in their last outing as well. Hawaii ran UC Davis off of their court a month ago...all I could see was a bunch of pissed off players and coaches for UCD...... Big time revenge game for UCD against a literally hobbled UH team. Davis by DD. UCD -5 1/2 770 to win 700 |

As long as Hawaii continues to allow 45% fg and 73ppg, they should not be laying heavy chalk to anyone......including a pathetic Riverside team.

Hawaii will meet a team that likes to play at the same fast pace in Nebraska Omaha tonight.

I am befuddled how St. Mary's won 10 straight to start the season.....they could be the worst team in this Tournament, and the results so far have supported this....

Or game total 75+ to 65, Gun to my head.
