Well Day 1 didn't go to well.  Thought the Yankee's bats would do more and Seattle just couldnt hang with Detroit tonight.

I have been on this website for quite some time (2007 I believe) and have always enjoyed the insight of those around the country.  I am going to try to keep track of my picks just to see how things go.   I have been wagering for a long time, but I am in NO WAY an expert.  I have no system in place and a small amount of change.  A unit to me is $30 bucks.  I have two children and a mortgage so if you are looking for a big spender, I am not your guy.  Last point....I am a Braves fan....and I often bet on them when I should not.Enough of the talk

Seattle - 1 unit - Nasty pitcher for Seattle and very sketchy line.  Hate to go against Verlander but the line is just screaming for people to take Detroit

Minnesota - 1 units - Nolasco has had a rough season.  But I think he and the Twins play a good game today.  I think there will be a lot of runs scored off these two pitchers.

Over Minnesota - 2 units - High Era's hoping to get the bats going tonight.

What makes me laugh is the fact that people say if he would have played.  Texas would have won if he didnt get hurt...... well he did play.  He played and couldnt take the first hit that came at him. You cant say that if he would have played texas would have won because HE DID PLAY.  A team like Texas shouldnt depend on just one guy.  Its Texas, they do an amazing job at recruiting, and shouldnt have had Gilbert so unprepared.  Its funny that guys like Train think they were right last night but they got screwed. Next time dont bet on a team with a fragile QB and a virgin QB (poor kid).   You were wrong and you were on the wrong side and i know you wont admit it but thats what makes victory taste so sweet.  I hate it for Colt and Texas because i was impressed with them and think they deserved to be in that game but when it comes down to it, Texas couldnt stop the run.  The O line for texas couldnt stop the pressure and poor gilbert got drilled because of it.  True, as a bama fan i will admit...the game was ugly.  Bad coaching and truly a strange game.  I wasnt happy at the execution but the Defense played great and in the end Bama Won.
