I say it's a toss up between Leonard and Diaw. Slight advantage to Leonard simply because he is more marketable foe the NBA. But the whole team performed well.... no real MVP imo.

Thoughts?

The only thing that really worries me about my game 2 play is if LawsonJames makes the Spurs his GOY.

I fully expect both teams to play better but don't see Miami having enough fire power to keep up if spurs play their game.

And one more thing... The spurs are a championship and prideful team... and so is miami. But the spurs will be hearing all weekend how they beat a LeBron less team in the 4th and escaped with a win. They will be fired up to prove otherwise.  Just my opinion.

Spurs only made one more 3 pointer than the Heat.

Can't consider Miami the aggressor when they shot only half of the free throws the spurs took. But Home court advantage will usually dictate that anyways.

Spurs will win the rebound and assist battle every game leading to easier wins if not for silly turnovers. 

I never felt at any moment that the Heat were going to win the game even when they were up about 7 in the 4th.

In the end... we can over analyze games to death and still bet the wrong side. I just happen to be confident in laying big money that I'm right in Game 2. Gl.

Am I the only one who thinks this was the Spurs worst playoff game? They were pressured and nervous it seemed and it showed with all those turnovers. Those were not due to Miami defense. Both teams could have played better but I think the Spurs were far from their normal game while the Heat were a lot closer to their potential barring the LeBron debacle in the 4th.

Give me Spurs -5 again for 40U.

I truly believe Spurs will protect home court and won't want to be in close games at home. Look for them to run up the score and not look back. Way better offensively than the Heat and if they play solid defense. ... game over.
