If the game comes down to a basket you are covered and can allow the 3 pointer. Other wise dont even take the points play the money line if you don't want to buy it up. I cant tell you how many times I saved myself from losing by half a point or getting a push and instead grabbing a win while buying a half point or full point. If you dont handicap consistently then dont bother. But it has its place any real bettor will tell you the same. Some will argue "well if you are that unsure why even make the bet?" Well, it's not always the right move to bet on only what you think will win when you can very easily boost a strong play to an even stronger play. Like today I bought the Goldenstate Warriors back up to +3.5 I like them to win outright but now I can allow up to 3 points if the game comes down to the wire. Do what works for you PERIOD

Denver Nuggets -7.5
After the all star break look for Kenneth Faried to play his best basketball yet. after winning the MVP in the rising stars game he will be playing with more confidence. I see Boston slowing down a step and this year is the end of the Kevin Garnett lead Celtics. They are up there in age. I like Denver to win easily. |

Toronto is just as talented. Low number but I think it falls right around 3. Best to buy the hook. Good luck CMM

Toronto Maple Leafs +130
Toronto is HOT do very well this year. And whats impressing me is their effort. Im riding them Tuesday they play well against Tampa. Tampa Bay is a good team that has let many down. Especially if you like money. If you like winning or making a few bucks, Tampa Bay has not been for you at this point. Lets do it! One play one winner Tuesday edition!

Calgarys a tough team looks like a 1 goal game if Phoenix can win it. Calgary might just go in and take this one though.

Philadelphia +100
As bad as Philly has been on the road, I see a promising future. It's time for a turn around. Philly is a blistering hot 23-6-1 in New York they own the Islanders. Lets take them at plus money and get the W. Also like Carolina ML, Carolina over 5.5, Florida ML, Nashville and in college basketball Lehigh over 131 And the winners are ours! |

EAST +3
The west has won two straight, LeBron and the boys are going to end that little streak. The east is a more physical team with a lot of guys who can finish at the hoop and spread the ball around unselfishly. I feel like the rookie game this is an easy pick. East wins East wins!! Follow my NHL pick in the NHL forum too! If you like money. |

Chicago -140
LA is not the team they were last season. Chicago is on another level. A small by in on one of the hottest starts to a season in NHL history. Ride the Hawks until they lose. LA doesnt have enough fire power to compete in Chicago. If you have been following me you know my one play one winner has cashed 3 out of 3 times. Lets make it 4.

Toronto Maple Leafs -134
Lets face it Ottawa cannot win on the road. Sure Toronto is 2-4 at home but I trust Toronto more at home then the Sens on the road. I do see Toronto getting on a roll and showing up this season more then currently expected. Toronto has been playing well vs the Eastern conference this year. Look for them to continue Saturday. Ottawa is too banged up to compete. They have not been scoring and Toronto is on a bit of a roll. One play one winner SATURDAY EDITION
