Well here we go for Sunday after a good day Saturday..Hoping to keep rolling along..Much more limited in the NFL..

3* S.D. Chargers + 3........Can Pitt keep winning without offense scoring TD's ? Pitt. 0 - 5 - 1  ATS last 6 Home openers and 4 - 14 ATS vs. the AFC West

3* Bears + 1.5......Have more faith in Da Bears D

2* Philly/Saints  OVER 49.5...Looks like plenty of pts. will be scored

2* S.F. - 6.5....All the injuries to SF and yet a 6.5 Rd. Fav..Books must know something to make this number..

I find a few dog's interesting today and I'm taking the bait..The numbers have actually moved to the plus in my favor and that doesn't happen for me too often..I'm keeping track for the season in this thread..Anyhow today I'm on :::::::::

3:30 ____________        6*.....Arkansas + 2.5......I think the wrong team is favored and will be watching Ark. try to stretch the field with their speed hopefully opening big runs up for their dual threat QB and this explosive RB Rodney Hill who's in the backfield today..This kid is for real and has speed to burn.

4:00____________          4* Utah + 1.5.......Again I think they had it right from the beginning..I'm expecting The Ute D to be the difference here and come up with the big plays..

12:00___________          4* Total ; Indiana / Charlotte OVER 50 ......Both can put up the points and believe they do..

Cleveland still making the dumb mistakes with a drop by Cooper on what would have been a TD, a Fumble recovery because of a dumb penalty on the KO, and an interception drop on Jac's FG drive..Good luck if on them..

Ok Covers I'm back for another season celebrating over a quarter of a century here and Wagerline before..As usual my rating system stays the same with 7 units down to 3 units for actual wagers placed..Let's see how the season goes and hopefully no more surgeries or other interruptions..GL to everyone today.

12:00....6* Blowout.....Memphis - 18-...This team scores in bunches and I expect the pedal to the metal right out the gate..Tune up for next week..

3:30..3* Dog..............Iowa St. + 3...Both teams have good D's that should show up today for this rivalry..Total Play also.

         3* Total............Iowa/Iowa St. UNDER 36....The last 5 between t hese two have stayed under the total so this may be another sleeper game..Iowas L5 at home are 4-1 to the under and they have allowed 16 or less in 7 out of the L8 at home..Iowa St. is 12-4 to the under the L16 times as a Road Dog..

7:30...3* Late play......Tenn. - 8...Thinking the Volunteer D will be the difference here..They just went thru the motion for an easy win while NC St. struggled.

Well it's been awhile as a few Back surgeries since last Feb. knocked the S**T out of me..It's been a long road but hopefully I'm back now..Just wanted to stop in and lend my take on tonights matchup tho..I don't know how good it will be but let's all hope we get our moneys worth..Really I'm thinking Mich. gets the respect they deserve tonight and basically here's why..This is the matchup of Offense vs. Defense..

Washington Huskies have a very good team that excells as a Underdog and I think the coach is 8-1 in the Dog role since he got there..But this will be the Best D they have seen all year and I just don't know how effective their running back will be after the injury at the end of the Tx. game..The Huskies have given up 26.9 pts. on the road this year and a little worse 27.7 the L3 games..They've given up an avg. 4.8  yards per run and over 140 yds. per game on the road..That doesn't play well tonight vs. a Mich. team averaging over 160 yds. rushing on the road and an a Mich. team completing over 65% of their passes..A friend e-mailed me this week after we discussed this game from numerous angles.."Offense brings the Crowd and Defense wins Championships":

Mich. D is just Badd A$$..They're holding opponents to 150 passing yards and 90 rushing yards..They held opponents to 11 Pts. on the road and under 235 ypg..Also standing out is they only give up 135 Passing Yards on about a 56% comp. rate on the road..I believe the LBs. and Def. Line will have a huge night..LAST BUT NOT LEAST lets not forget Pennix played at Indiana before transferring to Wash and had no success vs. Mich. and Harbaugh.. I was never a fan of Harbaugh as some probably remember but I had to back him tonight..I got them at a better line much earlier in the week but I still think they're good..Could it be that the Harbaughs take down the coveted prizes in College and Pro FB this year?..I am on MICHIGAN...

Michigan -4..... I Bet it early and often..Still love them up to a TD..
