 The announcer said during that game that ATX is guilty of “playing with their food” when they have a lead.

for a long time I’ve compared Sark to Kiffin when they get a lead. They both get bored by plays that work, get greedy with trying to hit homers, and set stubborn when drives stall. They can be a liability in many games.
