YTD: 21-22-2
Clippers/Lakers OVER 200 Analysis: What team will want to slow the pace? Neither. Since Clippers have gotten healthy (Billups, Butler, Cp3 back), they have been shooting the three ball with great consistency. Last night they absolutely lit up the Rockets from behind the arc. The Lakers will have to run and gun to keep up with the Clips in this one. And if somehow the pace is lower than 100 points per team, I'm fairly confident it will be close down the stretch. Free throws will surely be had in the final minute of this one.

Clippers UNDER 95.5 points Analysis: No Cp3, No Blake Griffin, No Jamal Crawford. Tell me who in God's name is going to score 96 points for the Clippers? Are bookmakers expected 3 players to go for career highs? It ain't happening.... Philly -2.5 Analysis: I think Indy is tired. They have been peaking of late and will surely have a letdown game against the sneaky home-court 76'ers. Look for Jrue to carve up the defense. Philly wins by 4-8 points.

YTD: 19-20-2 (slipped back under .500, no bueno)
Chicago +3 Analysis: All signs point to this Chicago team peaking. Winners of two straight and eight of their last ten, the Bulls will look to drop the Nets in Brooklyn (where they are a respectable 17-8). I think getting 3 points makes this bet a steal, this game should be more like a PK in my opinion... Pacers +2 Analysis: If the surging Pacers can't beat Miami now, then they never will. Indy is playing its best and most consistent ball of the year. I look for Miami to have a little letdown after a big effort on the road against the trash-talking Nets. Besdies, remember how close that playoff series was last year? I think the Pacers will look to really slow the pace of the game and make it a physical affair. I think they might be able to throw Dwade OR Lebron off (doing so to one of the two should be enough to cover). |

Steph Curry out. But so is Dirk AND Kaman. Besides, Jack is a great backup!

YTD: 19-18-2 (finally over .500 after a terribly slow start. let's keep it moving!)
Milwaukee +1.5 Analysis: Coming off a blowout win at Detroit yesterday, the Bucks got to rest their starters in the 2nd half. They should be fresh against a Bulls squad that they always seemingly play tough. As a home dog, I'll gladly take the points here. Look for Milwaukee to win the game by 4-8 points. Lakers -2.5 Analysis: I very well recognize that this may be a trap. But the Lakers simply need to win games. They can't have a letdown vs. this very beatable Suns team. If Kobe continues to facilitate like he has been in the last three games, Lakers should cruise to a 10 point victory. If he starts shooting low % fadeaway jumpers, then the trap game I fear may actually materialize.

YTD: 17-18-2
Golden State -1 Analysis: Toronto's surprising 11-10 home record is largely predicated off Sunday morning wins. Amir Johnson and Ed Davis have been a nice spark for Toronto but have also logged more minutes than they are used to. Combine that with a surging Golden State backcourt and I see a Warriors 5-8 point victory tonight. Philly +3.5 Analysis: Memphis lost last night. They have no business being 3.5 point favorites on the road against a good home team on the second night of a back to back. This one is easy! If you can still get +3.5 fire away! The line on most sites has dropped to +1.5.

Portland +6.5 Analysis: 24 hours removed from a win at the Rose Garden, Portland will take on the Clippers once again. This time the matchup is in LA. Without Chris Paul, I will make the struggling Clippers prove to me that they can beat a quality team by 7 points or more. I don't see it. I see Portland keeping it close with a chance to win late. Take the points!

YTD: 15-17-2
Houston -2.5 Analysis: Brooklyn does not have the offensive firepower to hang with Houston (especially on back end of b2b). Making matter worse, Deron Williams is questionable to play with a knee injury. Harden, Parsons and Delfino will look to fire early and often from behind the arc. Houston in a rout. Milwaukee -2 Analysis: Golden State is coming off a bad loss against Chicago. I don't think they'll have enough time to right the ship. Look for them to falter at an underrated Milwaukee home team. Milwaukee by 8.

Memphis has seemingly found their defensive groove all of a sudden. I know the offense is still a question mark, but nothing good can be said about Brooklyn's offense either. Therefore, in a defensive struggle...edge Memphis.

Sacramento -3.5 Analysis: I do not like this Suns team. I especially don't like them when I hear that coaches and players are nearly coming to blows in practice. On the other hand, Sacramento is 12-10 at home and is getting great production from their big man Cousins. Look for the Kings to cruise. Take the favorite in this one. |
