Taking the over in the Packers/Lions game. I think each QB will light it up, are both good for 3 TDS each, with each getting a rushing touchdown.
I know it is a trap game but I think the Chiefs -2.5 will cover on the road against the Titans. I don't see Fitzpatrick being able to get it done. Broncos -7 against the Cowboys and the over 55.5. Manning is playing lights out obviously and even though they are on the road I see them scoring at least 38, Romo will keep it close early but I think Peyton and the boys will pull away in the second half. 38-24. Chargers -4 against Oakland. I know that I am taking the road team in all of these games but I don't think Pryor is going top be as effective and Rivers is somewhat re-rejuvenated this year. Your thoughts. |

That's a good point and normally I wouldn't take a bunch of teams on the road, but with the exception of Arkansas I think the home team is significantly weaker than there opponent.
Clemson is playing on a different level right now, NC State game withstanding, and I feel they are going to have a lot of style points if it comes down to multiple undefeated teams. They have Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida State as their big games. LSU is smarting after the loss to Georgia and I think the defense really has something to prove after giving up so many points to Auburn and esp. Georgia. They are now a one loss team and I feel they will come out fired up and looking to put Miss. St away early. I don't think that Arkansas will win the game against Fla but I do think they will keep it close enough to cover. Fla. This is the one game that I am a bit concerned about. Arkansas has burned me the last two weeks. In the understatement of the year, if Georgia were playing Vanderbilt on the road, I wouldn't touch this game, but they are playing a Tennessee team that does not have the depth required to compete at this level. They barely won last week and had W. Ken not shot themselves in the foot they would have lost that one as well. I could very well of 0-6 with my picks but I am thinking and feeling that these are pretty strong, fingers crossed. Thanks for the input. Any more is welcome. |

for some reason I am liking the BC -10.5 against Army. I have a feeling they will rebound.

New here been doing alright so far my picks for this weekend.
I have UCLA -4. I think UCLA is for real and I look for them to cover by at least 10. I know it is on the road, but I have a feeling. Mora has them playing strong and believing in themselves. Clemson -12.5. The Tiggers had their potential blow-up game a few weeks ago against NC State. They are clicking on all cylinders on offense and defense. I see this as a rout, 20 points easily. Georgia -10.5. This is a rivalry game and there is no way the suffer a letdown. I think that after Saturday's big win, the Dawgs will need to get some style points. The rest of their season, with the exception of Florida, is filled with easy games they should win with ease and they may lose some ground in the polls. Arkansas +10.5. The Gators QB, although in the two games e's been better than Driskel, is playing solid not spectacular. I see this one a battle between two teams that are going to eat up a lot of time. There is no way Fla gets a big lead against the Razorbacks. LSU -9.5. I jumped on this one early because I think by the end of the week the line might move up to13. LSU will be hungry for redemption. I think this is Mullen's last year at Starkville. He hasn't been able to take the program to the next level, while just about everyone else in the division has taken steps forward, or at least maintained their positions. All of these are one unit beats. I have a weird way of beating but it works for me. 1 unit for all games, 1 5 team parlay and 1 5 team teaser. And every game has a 2 team parlay. Its quirky but it works. Unless I do something stupid like last week and bet 11 games. Although I did go 7-4. Texas A&M, South Carolina, OSU/Wisky total, and OK St were my losers. I still made money so that is all that matters right. Please comment at your leisure |
