Many of you probably saw my parlay week 1 where I walked away with $49K, I am down to 1 game on another for $86K.  I know gambling winnings are tax free in Canada but I was also told if you win multiple big amounts they can say you are a "professional" gambler.

Since Jan I have cashed out 17k, 19k, 26k and 49k, I will definitely hedge this last game to guarantee myself atleast 20K profit.  Do I have anything to worry about?

I am new here, well to the forums anyway.  I do visit the page often however.  I have a 10 Game parlay down to 3 games which pays out $82,000.  All 3 games left are week 1 of the NFL.  I have an idea of how I might hedge but curious as to what others would do.. Here is what I need.

Dolphins -1.5
Lions -3.5
Texans -3

Im really having second thoughts with my Lions pick!


Well I got the push, so I walked away with just under $43,000 on my 10 game $75 parlay.  And I hedged the last game at +4 with $4500 so I was lucky enough to win that too..  Great night of FOOTBALL!!!!

Very stressful day so far, wasted $900 on in play hedging but ended up hitting both the dolphins and lions.

GOOD LUCK everyone, Im hoping the Lions can start getting in the endzone!

Just curious what others would do that's all.  Of course its true why the heck would someone make things like that up, nothing to gain?  Anyway I have no problem showing the ticket, can I post a picture here somehow?

This is along the lines of what I was thinking.  I know many people do not like parlays but Ive done very well with them hitting many over 10K, this would by far be the biggest however.  Thanks for the advice!

If it was me. 

I would bet the other sides of the 2 Sunday games at those lines for $1000 each. 1100/1000

If they both win you are up 2000 less 75

If they both lose you are down 1100 plus 1100 plus 75 but you parlay is live. Then bet 5500/5000 on other side of houston game get hammered and watch. Locked in profit. 

Downside is if those games go 1-1 you are out parlay and 100 juice. 

That's why it's gambling. 

You have leverage and I would use it. 

There are more complicated and effective strategies especially using in game wagering but I just gave one simple example.
