I was down ~4-5 units in World Cup, but that's ok, just couple unlucky bets and hard beginning, but finished strong. Just unhappy, that lost last big bet on Lithuania, they really could win there.

But I'm ready to have a good profitable European season!
Cashed couple of units in play with Strasbourg today, and I have 2 picks for tomorrow.

Unics is superb team, playing against averange team with a lot of new players.

And might add more units to Zalgiris (waiting for more lines to open), because it's a big value with that kind of line, Zalgiris will miss their 2 foreign players tomorrow, but Nevezis ir pretty much youngsters team, just couple of players have any professional experience. It's totally new team, that don't have any really big guys and also started trainings just 2 weeks ago, Can't imagine they can keep it close tomorrow.

Yeah, everybody is looking at the history :) actually it opened even at 29.5 first minutes.

And actually, Lithuanians strongly believe in our team and picking Lithuania a lot, but myself today I don't for the reasons I mentioned above :)

But if we could win, I definately would blow away my 5 units, just to have opportunity to play in finals! GL!

Ok, I can explain some insights about that. 4 years ago Lithuania lost by 15 to USA and 2 years ago we lost by 5. Both times my team chosen the tactics to do everything to stop Americans inside the paint and let them shoot 3pts shots and both times they did it very successfully to every American, except Durant. In 2010 Durant scored 38 with 14/25 field shots and in 2012 he scored 16, but made 4/7 3pts shots. In 2010 all other americans except Durant scored 3/13 3pt shots and in 2012 they did 5/25.

Both these matches we had awesome playmakers, who were a very big part of out team, they were the coaches on the court for Lithuania, Kalnietis and Jasikevicius.

And now situation is totally diferent. This year we lost Kalnietis on the last friendly game, so Lithuania was preparing to have Kalnietis as the main power and the captain for the team and lost him on the last day before the championship. We have just 2 young playmakers without that kind of games experience this year and sometimes we put Seibutis, our shooting guard, for playmaker position. Furthermore, this year USA team is totally diferent - they have awesome shooters like Curry, Harden, Thompson and USA are shooting over 38% 3pointers in the tournament, so this tactic totally doesn't fit. We will not have the advantage in the paint against USA, like we had playing with other teams.

But definately, Lithuania will try to fight at first, but the thoughts of Lietuva coach and some other signs make me think, that we will loose quite big. I'm not locking the bet on prematch, I will see how the match goes, and as I said earlier, I will look for the signs that coach Kazlauskas starts looking for 3rd place game and then I will lock the bet for USA, because I don't think team with Seibutis, Valanciunas and Darjus Lavrinovic on the bench can keep it close, these are main players that needs some rest.

You're right, actually, if the game starts with USA domination and they will have ~13-15 pts lead, I will take USA handicap with this kind of situation. Will be looking for it.

To tell the truth, I don't think they will cover. Even coach Kazlauskas said, they will look up at the situation, and if they see there are no chances to fight, they will start thinking about the game for 3rd place.

What a quarterfinals! And basically all the championship, I think backing all the underdogs would have given ~20-30% profit in this championship but happy, that managed to trade Brasil in play and made just small minus with this one yesterday and got money from Spain under, so was pretty good day yesterday. Furthermore, USA odds went from 1.57 to ~1.10 today
