I have spent my time over the past 4 years on covers building trust in the name Makaveli.  People know when they see that name on the NBA forums they will see insight and information inside.  I have absolutely no problem with another Mak, hell give me two or three more Mak's. 

This forum is big enough for the two of us, but this forum is only big enough for one conceited Mak who refers to himself in the third person...and that Mak is me.  Please, please stop using "Mak's" in your thread title.  It confuses many and aggravates the hell out me. 




   I understand and can assure you it was never my intention to cause any trouble.
   I was not able to register with my e-mail address. and I didn't want to create one which wouldn't have any other use. I guess I should have. Call it laziness.
   Now, it saddens me that you're thinking I'm exploiting the name to get more views. I never realized one could mistake me for you, our styles being so not the same. Plus, I stated several times I was a beginner.
   I think you are too quick to judge. Although I didn't post during the last three years, I've been following your threads and love your writups. I have huge respect for you and never wanted to cause any harm. I hope you will believe me.
   I concede I have been clumsy and lacked inventiveness. To prove I'm not trying to fool anyone, I will stop using "Mak's" in my threads.

   Hello everyone. My system nailed 3 out of 4 totals yesterday and I hope it keeps nailing more. On the other hand, side picks still suck. That's why I tweaked it a little. Let's see what then next days will bring. Only one game for tonight, I said I'd be more selective.

System's sides record: 25-36-1 (40.32%).
System's totals record: 38-24-0 (61.29%).
System's full record: 63-60-1 (50.81%).
Betting record: 48-41-1 (53.33%).

System's results:
- 76ers +5 (3%) and under 188 (5%).

   After this insanely awful MLK day, I'm hoping I'll bounce back in the incoming days. Only two games tonight, i don't feel them at all but we'll see.

System's sides record: 22-32-1 (40%).
System's totals record: 34-21-0 (61.82%).
System's full record: 56-53-1 (50.91%).
Betting record: 43-36-1 (53.75%).

   Went 2-0 yesterday, I added 10% on the Spurs and made good money. System went 2-2, I knew the LA game was a trap. There are a lot of games today, let's hope the system gets better on sides and keeps hitting totals.

System's sides record: 18-26-0 (40.91%).
System's totals record: 31-13-0 (70.45%).
System's full record: 49-39-0 (55.68%).
Betting record: 39-26-0 (60%).

System's results:
- Wizards +5 (2%) and under 196.5 (no bet).
- 76ers -4.5 (2%) and over 189 (no bet).
- Hornets -8.5 (2%) and over 193 (3%).
- Bucks +4.5 (2%) and over 193.5 (3%).
- Nets +7.5 (2%) and over 205 (3%).
- Hawks -10 (no bet) and over 200.5 (3%).

   Yesterday was another great night for totals... And another awful one for sides. I may have to upgrade my system if it doesn't get better because it may not be bad luck, even if several games were close. I also have to choose my plays more wisely: I made good money playing all of them but I would lose big on a bad day. I still consider myself a beginner in sport betting, even though I started years ago. I'm learning every day and becoming more consistent but it's not yet how I want it to be. Anyway, I will try to do my best.
   Only two games today. I already know I won't bet on the LA game; the results, spread or total, are not clear enough: projected total is 198 and projected spread 7. I would have bet on them yesterday but I noticed a lot of close picks, like these, turned into a loss. I may parlay both for a very low amount since I'll watch the game but that's all. On the other hand, Spurs ATS seems a good value, my system sees them blow the Nuggets.

System's sides record: 17-25-0 (40.48%).
System's totals record: 30-12-0 (71.43%).
System's full record: 47-37-0 (56%).
Betting record: 37-26-0 (58.73%).

System's results:
- Lakers -5.5 (no bet) and over 197 (no bet).
- Spurs -8 (2%) and under 211.5 (4%).

   I may put more on the Spurs but I feel, for now, this game may be close. Best of luck to all.

   Sorry for the late post, I was waiting for a few players status. Yesterday total record was incredible - 9-2 and could have been 10-1 without OT in the NOH game -, but, on the other hand, side record was awful. I will put now put 4% of my bankroll on totals and 3% on sides, since totals have always been better since I started. Here are the results:

System's sides record: 14-19-0 (42.42%).
System's totals record: 23-10-0 (69.70%).
System's full record: 37-29-0 (56.06%).
Betting record: 27-18-0 (60%).

System's results:
- Wizards -5 and under 208.5.
- Hawks -8.5 and over 204.
- Hornets +3.5 and under 185.
- Pistons -5 and over 198.
- Bulls -2.5 and over 187.
- Timberwolves +8.5 and under 209.5.
- Nuggets -15.5 and under 213.5.
- Blazers -9.5 and over 184.5.
