Oklahoma City Thunder -2.5

San Antonio had dropped 6 straight against the Thunder at home. More importantly, the spurs are on their 2nd night of a back to back, while the Thunder are well rested having been off for 3 days already. It is also likely that at least 2, if not all of San Antonio's stars sit out tonight, with the Spurs already assured of a safe high playoff spot. Pop has also mentioned that he is itching for a loss and would probably want to see how his team would react to one after winning for so long and this being a crucial time already heading into the playoffs. Given that, he may also choose to play some mind games so as to not have that mental disadvantage losing with a complete line up to the Thunder.

 

Dallas Mavericks +4.5

The Mavs will be....one word....DESPERATE. They will come here and be willful knowing that they are on the verge of not making the playoffs. I also see them looking to redeem themselves from that heartbreaking loss to GSW the last time out, which ultimately placed their playoff hopes in jeopardy. On the other hand, the Clips had to dig deep against an also desperate Suns last night and should be tired tonight. Moreover, Clips have already found themselves safe in the POs and could be less aggressive tonight.
